Hajj – A Religious Obligation Of Great Prospects For Muslims

For Muslims, true success lies in submitting themselves wholly to the wish and will of The Mightiest, living their lives as a means to appease Allah Almighty, following all the obligations of their religion. The religion for a true Muslim remains insignificant without observing five aspects, referred commonly as “Five Pillars of Islam”.They include

* Testimony of faith

* Prayers (Salath)

* Fasting during the month of Ramadan (Sawm)

* The Pilgrimage to Makkah (Hajj)

* Giving charity (Zakat)

Britain to change war crimes laws to allow senior Israeli government officials into the UK

Something that should have been posted about last week when it was announced.

Until now, former senior Israeli government officials have shied away from making public visits to the UK, and even last weeks visit by Tzipi Livni needed special consideration to be safely allowed into the UK without fear of arrest:

The Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni has avoided the possibility of prosecution in a British court for war crimes after the Foreign Office declared that she enjoys temporary diplomatic immunity.

Words of Wisdom: Be with Allah
By Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi

To all people involved in the Syrian and Arab revolutions; to political leaders struggling for their peoples and to all Muslims under oppression:
This is the right time to come back to Allah, the time to repent and return to Him and the time to beseech Him; as this is the key to our relief and the means for us to be given the authority of our ancestors and be true heirs to them. "Who else will answer the call of the distress, lift hardships and appoint you as inheritors of the earth?"*

How British do you feel?

I was just wondering how much you see this country as your own since most of us aren't white/English.

For some reason, I don't think it's 'right' for me to protest against the monarchy and try to get rid of them. It just feels like a very English thing and not really my place to try and get rid of them especially when they don't affect me in any way. Perhaps I only feel that way since I don't care for the Royal family either way.

I support Pakistan when they're playing anyone else in cricket.

Culturally I'm waaaaaaaaaay more asian than english.

Oh and I know all the words to the Pakistani national anthem but not the British one. I don't like the British anthem though.

Make a wish, what do you wish for?

Musab Ibn Zubair ibnul Awwam (RA), Urwah ibn Zubair ibnul Awwam (RA) and Abdul Malik ibn Marwan were gathered one day with Sayyidna Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Khattab(RA)

Musab ibn Zubair said; As we are next to the Kaa'ba let us all make a wish (ta manuw) and Allah may accept our wish through the blessing of this gathering and your responding with 'Ameen'

So they said to him, as you have suggested this, why don't you start by making your wish first.
