A sincere request

Please a sincere request from a brother which I am forwarding:

Assalam Alaikum,

Dear Brother / sister,

As you may know, 'Jewel of Medina' is a fictional book portraying Hazrat Aisha (r) in a demeaning and pornographic way.

It is our duty to protect the honour and dignity of the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and his family & companions so it is my request to you to write to the following people and request that they do not publish or stock this book in the UK.

We don't wish to give any publicity to this book and are requesting a quiet but large email & letter campaign.

Teenage bomb plot accused cleared

Two teenagers who were accused of discussing a plot to blow up British National Party (BNP) members have been cleared of terror charges.

Waris Ali, 18, from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, was found not guilty of three counts of possession of an article for a terrorist purpose.

His school friend Dabeer Hussain, 18, was acquitted of one count of the same charge at Leeds Crown Court.

After the 13-day trial Mr Ali said he was "extremely relieved".

Friends and family of the two men hugged in the public gallery as the jury returned their verdicts after deliberating for two and a half hours.

You Big Fat Liar...

Ever since i was a kid, i was told to tell the truth. That honesty was the best policy. And lies only begot more lies until your head exploded.

And then i grew up, and found out lies had their place too. For example lying to keep a promise or lying to protect someone. But of course as with all such things its tempting to go a lil too far.

So where should be draw the line? Is it ever okay to tell fibs?
Do you consider it a big or a small sin?

[quote]Talking Fisher-Price doll accused of promoting Islam
By Matthew Moore, Telegraph

A talking Fisher-Price doll that sounds like it is saying "Islam is the Light" has been described as inappropriate by parents.

The Fisher-Price Little Mommy Cuddle 'n Coo is meant to make realistic baby sounds and occasionally cry out for its "mama".

But some parents claim that one of its noises sounds just like "Islam is the Light", and have complained to Mattel, which owns Fisher-Price.
