Islamic Circles are proud to announce the following event:

MID-WEEK MUSLIM MARRIAGE EVENT

Date: Wednesday 29th June 2005
Time: 6.30 pm - 9.00 pm
Venue: Room B29, Basement, Birkbeck College, Malet Street, Bloomsbury,
London, WC1E 7HX

All Muslims welcome to attend regardless of ethnicity, marital status
or 'level' of faith and practice. Mahrams are strongly recommended to
attend and assist where possible.

Smart 404 Redirection

Salaam

I am working on smartly redirecting users to the right page if the wrong URL is entered.

Currently this only works if the entered url has capitals, whilst the correct one does not.

Inshallah I will improve this soon.

When this is ready I will be able to move the whole site to php, as the .htm pages should automatically be redirected to .php pages.

If anyone has a ready made script to change htm to php let me know.

Alternatively if you have any other tips, do not hesitate to contact me (either here or by email).

No charges over Cruise squirting

Actor Tom Cruise has said he will not press charges against the TV film crew who squirted him with water at the War of the Worlds premiere in London.

Four TV workers were arrested after the 42-year-old actor's face and jacket were drenched with water from a fake microphone on Sunday.

Channel 4 later apologised to Cruise for the stunt, which was filmed for a comedy show.

According to my family I was the best baby-almost never cried

they also say that I was the best child as well-very quiet and took a lot of crap without complaining

my brother would pull my hair 24/7 and I'd do nothing (my sister would come to my rescue)

my older sis would jack my sweets and I'd say nothing

I did whatever she told me to do

I NEVER argued with my parents-nothing ever seemed to bother me

For the last 5 years tho-a temper problem has kicked in

I dont know why

in my family the women dont have tempers-only a few men do

when I'm angry I swear and this is REALLY bad...cos

Conversion to Islam

Hi,

I am looking for information about how I can convert to Islam. All my life I have believed in one God and a few months ago I was reading a website about Islam and realised that there were a lot of things that were appropriate to my beliefs and life. As I was reading about the scientific proofs I felt a belief that I have not felt before. Since then I have done more research into Islam and decided that I would like to 'officially' become Muslim. Is there a course that I can go on at the end of which I will be initiated officially?

The last “Is She Asking For It” thread was very controversial. This one in comparison will be a bit lighter.

Do instances ever arrive when a guys asks for it? And what exactly is it that he’s asking for?

Is he asking for it when he eyes up/praises pretty women in the presence of his wife?

Is he asking for it when he thinks its OK for him to associate with women, yet has a serious issue when his wife associates with men?
