Al-Azhar okays controversial book about Prophet Mohammed

Book, published in 1837 by Reverend George Bush, portrays Prophet Mohammed as 'imposter'.

The highest authority in Sunni Islam approved a book describing the Prophet as an "imposter" and Muslims as "locusts" that the Egyptian press continued Friday to attribute to the US president's great grandfather despite denials from Washington.

"The Al-Azhar Institute for Islamic Studies approved the book titled 'The Life of Mohammed, founder of the religion of Islam and of the Empire of the Saracens'," Egyptian newspapers announced on their fr

Dreams

Dreams are broken into three parts according to the Sunnah:

Ru'yaa - good visions (dreams)

Hulum - bad dreams

Dreams from one's self

Abu Hurayrah narrated Muhammad (S) said, "There are three types of dreams: a righteous dream which is glad tidings from Allah, the dream which causes sadness is from Shaitan, and a dream from the ramblings of the mind."

The prophet (pbuh) also said we should disclose good and true dreams to the people we like, however advised against disclosing bad dreams to anyone.

Love

Love..how can one define it? What kinds of love are there, ie worldy love, true love etc?

I personally believe that one has different kinds of love for their parents/siblings,partners..but what about the love for Allah (swt) and the Holy Prophet (saw), isn't this love pure and true love as there are no conditions or limit from the love we receive from Allah (swt) and the Holy Prophet (saw).

I have heard Allah (swt) has divided love into 100 parts of which 1/100 is for the people of this world for each other and 99/100 is Allah’s (swt) love for his people!
Ahmadinejad elected president of Iran

Iran's interior minister has declared Mahmood Ahmadinejad winner of Friday's presidential runoff election.

The ultra-conservative Tehran mayor was earlier reported by officials to be sweeping towards a stunning presidential election victory over veteran cleric Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani with the backing of Iran's religious poor.

Political analysts say Ahmadinejad's win can spell an end to the fragile social reforms made under outgoing President Mohammad Khatami and harden Iran's foreign policy towards the West, particularly over its
