Superwomen-Necessity or Choice?

I was reading an article the other day which basically was arguing that women are expected to become “superwomen”-they must do it all or lose it all.

They become “supermums” and are “burned out” a few years later. And it was basically arguing that career-orientated women lead stressful lives and that too many of us have fallen prey to the feminist mystique....and that women should only focus on family and home and nothing else.

Islamically, it is the father/husbands job to financially provide for his family.

most of my guy cousins are all younger then me-so I see them as stupid little boys :roll:

my girl cousins are SO close to me-we sorta like sisters

how do YOU percieve ur cousins?

like ur mate? like family? or sumin a bit extra Wink

and how comes rules of hijaab etc become lax when it comes to cousins?

aint it advisible to keep distance between girl n boy cousins for obvious reasons?

and list the pro's n cons of cousin marriages

and btw count ur cousins-how many do u have? :shock:

We all like to eat and so why don't we share with others wot our fave restaurants/places to eat are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

That way if we are ever in those towns/areas then we can try some of the lovely atmosfer and food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This ones really for the people who know their Islamic History (seems to be a constant area of interest for me).

Does anyone know how Islam arrived in India back in the day and if there was any major events that took place at/or around this place e.g. battles etc...

If anyone has any good links or articles on this that would be appreciated too.

We all get sad sometimes

sometimes cos of personal problems and sometimes cos loved ones are sad or sumtimes cos of no reason

how to get rid of this feeling > Cray 2 and become Biggrin again?

And how comes sadness is so contagious? :shock:

if one person is sad evryone who is close to that person becomes sad too

is this just a feeling that u ride out-or do u activaly do sumin about?

is british weather to blame for sadness? :shock:
