What’s the Best Way To Thank Allah?

Salaam

Many of us (esp me) spend months with Allah (swt) on the prayer mat when they want a need fulfilled.

But when one gets what they want do they spend half that much time thanking Allah (swt) for that blessing?

The story that’s often narrated in the Sufism thread touches my heart because….

Fined £80 For Saying FA

A teenager was hit with an £80 fine for using the F-word while talking to his friend.

Kurt Walker was asked by his companion what he was up to and replied: 'F*** all, mate.'

But the private conversation was overheard by a police officer, who promptly handed a him a fixed penalty notice.

If we were to fine everyone £80 for using that word we could solve the national debt

However, the 18-year-old is refusing to pay the fine – the same punishment as that dished out for being drunk and disorderly, stealing goods worth up to £200 or causing £500 damage.

Mouse Or Real Man?

MERCY FOR HUSBAND

A HENPECKED husband who hurled a frozen ready meal at his wife, breaking her cheekbone, walked free from court yesterday.

Peter Rowland, 58, finally snapped when spouse Patricia berated him for getting one carton of fruit juice from the fridge instead of two.

It was said he was so under the thumb he was not even allowed to boil the kettle.

Rowland, of South Ockenden, Essex, admitted assault and got 18 months' community rehabilitation at Snaresbrook crown court. Judge John Platt said: "You're not violent."

INTERNET WEDDINGS

For some reason there is a stigma attached to internet weddings. My best friend who is married with one beautiful daughter met her husband through the internet. And they lived in opposites sides of the world.

There are many ways to meet your other partner. It could be in the library, in Uni, in the park or through mutual friends or family. But why is meeting through the internet looked down upon? It isnt any different to a rishta arranged by the family because both ways you don't know the person your dealing with and there's a possibility that he or she is not acting like they really are.

Earthquake of Ahle Haq, Ahle Sunnah hits London

Earthquake of Ahle Haq, Ahle Sunnah hits London

All eyes were on London (Saturday 18th February) as the Ahle Haq, Ahle Sunnah gathered at Trafalgar Square and held high the banner of Rasoolallah (Sallallahu Alaihe Wassalam).

There were many talks regarding the love and honour of Rasoolallah (Sallallahu Alaihe Wassalam) and current issues going on around the world. Throughout the programme slogans were said of the oneness of Allah and the Prophethood of Rasoolallah (Sallallahu Alaihe Wassalam).

The gathering reached its peak as the lovers of Rasoolallah (Sallallahu Alaihe Wassalam) followed the Sunnah of Allah and sent blessings on our beloved Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihe Wassalam).
