Hawaa’ Barayev, The Sword of the Hijab

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“I know what I am doing; Paradise has a price and I hope
this will be the price for Paradise.”

Hawaa’ Barayev, The Sword of the Hijab.

To all Muslims!

To all those who failed to fulfill their duties to their brothers and sisters in Chechnya,

To all those who waste their time with worldly exploits while Muslims are slaughtered in Chechnya and other parts of the world…

Take heed of the message issued by a young Muslim woman who wore the Hijab and was not even 20 years old, whose final words

Ex-CIA Agent: Bin Laden is Great Man, Formidable Enemy
Is there anything about bin Laden that Americans don't know, but should? "Yeah, I think there is. I think our leaders over the last decade have done the American people a disservice in continuing to characterize Osama bin Laden as a thug, as a gangster, as a degenerate personality, as some kind of abhorrent individual," says Scheuer.

"He surely does reprehensible activities, and we should surely take care of that by killing him as soon as we can. But he's not an irrational man. He's a very worthy enemy.

Wanton destruction of Palestine and Lebanon

Salaam

I was not gonna start this topic.

Just too erm... I got no words to say. Nothing I can do.#

Just hopeless.

Destroying basic infrastructure is collective punishment. Its a breach of basic human rights. Blowing up power stations, water treatment facilities, bridges does not release a single prisoner.

Flying Jets through Syria as a 'gesture' to say you can't, shouldn't, wouldn't do anything is just gross.

And all this makes people angry.

Not the most fluent post ever. Not thinking straight enough to be. I am not angry. Just no idea what to feel. Or think.

We are what we eat, what's you're favourite food?

What we choose to eat determines what kind of person we are to some extent and also determines our physical appearence, emotional side and lifestyle.
It shapes us to be the people we are (literally), hence the saying goes "we are what we eat" is true to some extent.

On this note i would like to ask you people what you like to eat? What do you tend to eat or drink the most? What can't you resist when you see on a plate starring at you screaming "eat me eat me".

Why r u in higher education?

The new body is entrusted with making recommendations on how to run mosques and Islamic centers in Britain.

LONDON – British Muslims launched on Tuesday, June 27, an independent self-regulatory body to supervise mosques and train imams in the European country.

"There are problems of governance within mosques and we need to build their capacity and make sure they are properly resourced," Khurshid Ahmed of the British Muslim Forum, one of the driving forces behind the body, told the BBC News Online.
