this thread is basically about people who take the piss

u do one thing for them and they take advantage of ur goodness and ask for more and more

examples

-people whom u help with assigments, spend money on and give lifts to all year and they cant even be bothered to give u a birthday card at the end of the year

-u pick up a neighbours kid from school once and they expect u to do it everyday

-people who want YOU to do all their work for them and expect u to write their name on it

-people who expect u to ruin ur own life just so someone elses life will be set

This poem was inspired by the news report on C4 about a muslim girl being bullied in a school in Nottingham,as usual feedback would be appreciated. As usual please post on other forums and jzk to my editing team as always. Please send this poem to any Muslim school children you know and even read it to them inshAllah, so that we motivate and inspire the next generation to hold onot Islam and follow it better than us.

Assalamu Alaikum

All your help will be much appreciated.

I have to do an English speaking and listening assignment that I will have to do in front of the class.

It is about what I want to banish into Room 101 (like in the room 101 TV
series) and why?

The presentation has to be exactly 3 or more minutes long.

It has to be something I hate, fear or find really annoying :evil: .

Theres a certain beauty in being a lone wolf. You have all the time you need to do things YOU want to do, like talking to yourself, playing solitaire, going to see that movie you really wanna see or try to carry that couch into your new house all by yourself.

Then again, there would have been times when you'd have prefered to have a friend. You know... to have lunch with, sharing jokes, doing some sort of recreational activity. Someone you ring when things go in the cr@pper. Someone you turn to for advice.

The common notion that women are the more talkative sex has been dispelled by scientists in the US.
Researchers who bugged 400 students to log their chats found little difference in word count between the sexes.

The University of Arizona study, in Science, conflicts with previous US research suggesting women talk almost three times as much as men.

Whether someone was an introvert or an extrovert was more important, said relationship experts.

In the study, women spoke a daily average of 16,215 words during their waking hours, and men 15,669 words.

Foreign imams who do not learn English should be banned from giving sermons in UK mosques, a Labour peer has said.

Lord Ahmed's comments come as a survey suggests imams lack professional and language skills to tackle the threat of radicalism among young British Muslims.

Only 8% of imams preaching in British mosques were born in the UK, it found.

Research at 300 mosques by Chester University for BBC News and the BBC Asian Network also indicated only 6% speak English as a first language.

Muslims have been told it is their 'Islamic duty' to co-operate with the police to ensure Britain's safety.

The statement was agreed at a "deeply significant" meeting in London held by the Muslim Council of Britain.

More than 200 people, including imams, community activists and police representatives, gathered to lay out ways to combat the threat of terrorism.

A spokesman said there was a real willingness to accept the "problem within the Muslim community".
