Pimps and Prostitutes

salaam

Does Pimping affect or concern the Muslim community?

Are there Muslim pimps?

Are there Muslim prostitutes?

Does anyone know of anyone personally?

I know of Lumb Lane in Bradford, its notorious for prostitutes...i think ;ast year mosques/elders came out on the streets to protest against them, to scare em off etc.

So is this something that is undercover but serious facing the Muslim community?

Or is it a non issue?

Do mosques and Imaams need to highlight this more?

What are the solutions to this issue?

Pls do share your views on this issue...

Deluded Parents

Salaam

I meet parents on a daily basis – most of who are deluded about their kids.

I have a good handful of children who are lazy, cant write a simple sentence and never bother to give their homework in on time but parents are convinced that they are top in the class.

One child in my class settles his disputes by biting – parents don’t understand how on earth their tiny, skinny, scared looking child could be capable of doing such a thing.

In an embarrassing blunder at the meeting in Riyadh, ministers' microphones were not cut off during a key closed meeting, and Prince Al-Faisal was heard saying: "My feeling is that t

Can a leapard change his spots?

Salaam

I’ve noticed in some communities – particularly my own. When someone has a bad past and then gave up his/her wrong ways – society still finds it difficult to accept this.

Some people do their time in prison - but when they come out full of remorse, society still shuns them.

I know of reverts who are not welcomed into the family they marry into, as their inlaws assume that they are still hanging onto to their unislamic cultural ways.

Fifty, sixty snakes

[b]Fifty, sixty snakes

In 1986, an oppressed and extremely hurt mother gave the following story in an article in the `Jang` newspaper. She narrated that, `Recently my eldest daughter died. When her grave was dug, fifty to sixty snakes appeared. When another grave was dug, again the same amount of snakes all appeared and coiled up one on top of another. When a third grave was dug, even more snakes appeared. People around were extremely terrified and it was also late.
