well xmas is round the corner....so what role do Muslims play?
do we send xmas cards to our work colleagues in a way of dawah?
do we say happy xmas in order to be courteous?
do we take part in xmas dinner at school, college, uni, work?
do we give xmas presents to non muslim friends, work colleagues?
the question is: to what extent are we allowed to take part in xmas celebrations?
Yes we dont celebrate xmas, we dont have a xmas tree, we dont have the lights in our house, we dont do the prezzies, the turkey(can we?), the xams parties etc....

Bilingualism is not a problem, it is an asset. As so many pupils in UK have English as a second language or alternative language. We should be celebrating the fact that we have such a diverse language culture in our schools. Indeed, we should try to encourage some of our monolingual native pupils to join in the learning of a community language. Five of the languages that are gaining in popularity are Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian and Urdu.

Patience is needed in worshipping Allah (swt), abstaining from wrong and in the time of hardship.
Some people lack patience in certain things and are strong in others things e.g one may have plenty of patience to stand in prayer all night but no patience when it comes to lowering the gaze.
