Mr brother has this problem. He’s madly in love with this decent, religious girl but he doesn’t know how to tell her he likes her without offending her.

Just for him I met this girl once and she really was lovely. But when I raised the marriage issue she became embarrassed and changed the subject. If this girl gets embarrassed in front of girls then I can’t imagine what she would do if my brother approached her. It’s hard for religious people to make the first move. But love is not forbidden in our religion.

I don’t think it is. I personally know Imams who are dynamic and charismatic speakers…who returned to college for a year or so to perfect their English.

Allah (swt) says in the Quran "We sent every Messenger speaking the language of his people so that he may explain to them"

Is it wrong to expect your Imam to be clued up with that’s going on?

Is it wrong to expect your Imam to know about the society he is dealing with?

Is it wrong for the Imam to be able to relate and understand the Muslim youth today?

On the old forum MS and MSlilisis wanted morality cops in England. They said it on the “Enjoining what is bad and forbidding what is good” thread on the old forum. Loads of people replied, everyone was outraged and disgusted about the idea and MS and MSlilsis didn’t have a leg to stand on.

Morality cops are kufr.

a chritian m8 of mine has been on the forum and this was the feedback i got from him
