Salaam,
I found myself laughing to myself on my way home from school today (like some crazy woman - ), but to be honest, I often go home with a smile on my face and look forward to the next day.
I'm sure, enjoying your job is a personal thing...couple of new teachers like me have either quit or are more stressed out than they were when they were training.
Share the perks of your present or past job in this thread...
IMAM ABD HAMID AL-GHAZALI
You should not neglect your time or use it haphazardly; on the contrary you should bring yourself to account, structure your litanies and other practices during each day and night, and assign to each period a fixed and specific function.
This is how to bring out the spiritual blessing (baraka) in each period.
But if you leave yourself adrift, aimlessly wandering as cattle do, not knowing how to occupy yourself at every moment, your time will be lost.
While it is entirely possible to do so, it is extremely likely you will get caught.

Whether to send any in return
To reciprocate greetings
Or just smile and nod and appear non-committal
Christmas party is the highlight of the year
All dressed up and equal

Just wondered if anyne knew the answers to the following questions:
Does islam accept the so called "science of the stars"?
Is there any truth in star signs - capricorn, virgo, taurus etc
What does islam say about fortune telling?

By Majed Iqbal
A fresh new program has hit the television screens at peak prime time viewing on the BBC 2 channel. Actually, one which has taken everyone back! Titled “Arrange me a marriage†the show attempts to matchmake couples by using the principles of “Asian†arranged marriages.
Sounds interesting! Also sounds taboo! After all, such a concept of an arranged marriage seems backdated to Victorian Times for the English population.
