Hey Salaamz All..!

Well i just thought id start a forum 4 a likkle while coz i need ideas for our next noor tv show

basically, lemme give u sum background information

our show is about the youth, what happns amongst teenagers and whats happenin in the society etc, and we link it in with the Quraan and hadith and stuff

our previous show was about good company.. hanging about with the right ppl, and keepin away from bad people who lead to bad habits etc

and our next show is due to record in feb half term inshallah.. thats sumtime between 11th feb + week..

Two major parties in Turkey say they will submit a joint plan to parliament to ease a ban on the Islamic headscarf in universities.

The Islamist-rooted governing AK Party and the nationalist MHP say it is an issue of human rights and freedoms.

The two parties have enough votes in parliament to overturn the constitutional ban on headscarves.

A strict headscarf ban has been in force in universities since 1997. It was ordered by the secularist military.

The regulator for Britain's snoopers has released a report covering the last nine months of 2006, painting a panglossian picture of a period which saw a quarter of a million intercepts.

From 11 April to 31 December 2006 there were 253,557 requests for communication data.

£60 fine for a sports car worth £800,000!

You see a person getting a parking ticket everyday for his normal everyday average car.

but what you do not see is....

A Manchester traffic warden has had the unusual experience of being cheered by the public after she slapped a parking fine on an £800,000 Bugatti sports car.

The vehicle, which is currently the fastest and most expensive sports car in the world, was left illegally in a city centre loading bay.
Curious shoppers soon gathered round the black and white Bugatti Veyron to take a closer look.
When the traffic warden passed by she was met with cheers as she fought through the crowd to put a £60 parking ticket under the windscreen wipers.

Honour Killing
Honour killing and female infanticide come from Pagan-Hindu-Judeo-Christian traditions. Hindus idolise women as Goddesses on one hand, while downgrading them on the sly at the same time. There is nothing in the Holy Quran and the Hadiths that may encourage people to kill their daughters. Infact, Islam came to abolish the dark ages of Pagan- Hindu –Judeo- Christian traditions. Islam is a matter of choice and there is no compulsion at all. It is a misconception that forced marriage and honour killing are part of Muslim culture.

what kind of a parent will you be?

Most of the people here are not married
one day you will get married inshallah

and one day you will become a parent inshallah

now what kind of a parent will you be

we are quick to criticise parents nowadays but are we gonna be any better?

are we gonna learn from the mistakes of our parents?

will our education or western upbringing help?

i've been a dad for over a year and its not easy Smile

Will we have the commitment to our kids that our parents have?

are you scare dof becoming a parent or looking forward to it?

AN ISRAELI convoy of goods and peace activists will go today to Erez, Israel's border with Gaza, and many Palestinians will be on the other side waiting. They will not see one another, but Palestinians will know there are Jews who condemn the siege inflicted on the tiny territory by Israel's military establishment and want to see an end to the 40-year-old occupation.
