Destiny.....

So i started a debate of with my friend yesterday about destiny. his point was kind of stupid really. he was saying that destiny is written and nothing can be done to change it. it is not his choice to walk into the middle of the road and get run over, if its written in destiny, he cant do nothing to stop it and he will automaticly walk into the road and get run over lol.
my point was obviously we have a choice in life, so our actions can change on our destiny. but i failed to put this point across to him.
could some of you clever people help me put my point acrosss???????

Theres this lad who comes to our local masjid to read namaz. Problem is....he stinks so bad....i feel sick and hope he doesnt stand next to me during prayer..

ok, i thought I was the only one who 'smelt' him. but im not alone.

What do we do? dont wanna hurt his feelings, but this needs to be addressed

Islamically, am i allowed to face him and tell him he needs a wash?

Abu Ghraib abuse photos 'show rape'

Photographs of alleged prisoner abuse which Barack Obama is attempting to censor include images of apparent rape and sexual abuse, it has emerged.

At least one picture shows an American soldier apparently raping a female prisoner while another is said to show a male translator raping a male detainee.

Further photographs are said to depict sexual assaults on prisoners with objects including a truncheon, wire and a phosphorescent tube.

Another apparently shows a female prisoner having her clothing forcibly removed to expose her breasts.

Detail of the content emerged from Major General Antonio Taguba, the former army officer who conducted an inquiry into the Abu Ghraib jail in Iraq.

'Slavery' mother-in-law is jailed

A 63-year-old woman who imprisoned her three daughters-in-law, treating them as "slaves and dogs", has been jailed for seven years.

Naseebah Bibi would not let the women - also her nieces - leave the family home in Blackburn, Lancashire, without permission, Preston Crown Court heard.

One victim told police she had been forced to work on an industrial sewing machine day and night for 13 years.

The women had arranged marriages to Bibi's three sons, their first cousins.

Bibi, of Pringle Street, had denied falsely imprisoning Nagina Akhtar between 1993 and 2006, Tazeem Akhtar from 2001 to 2003 and Nisbah Akhtar between 2005 and 2007...

I probably should not be publicising this as to me it seems that is what the writeres want - get their viewership figures up.

Muslim Children in State Schools

Muslim children have been attending state schools for tha last 60 years. They have been suffering from Paki-bashing and bullying. Majority of them have been leaving schools with low grades. They have been leaving schools without learning their cultural and linguistic skiils. The result is that they do not know where they belong. They suffer from Identity crises. Now Muslim youths are victim of terrorism. Thousands of them are being searched in streets and hundreds of them are behind the bar without any trial.

Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. There is no place for a non-Muslim child or a teacher in a Muslim school.

Shocking and outrageous: Jailed for upto 65 years for helping Gazans

Well, it may just be me, but I found it shocking that members of a charity that used money to fund social programmes in Gaza have been convicted with very long jail terms (65 years in a couple of cases), simple because the Gaza Strip is controlled by Hamas.

These people were not militants, nor were they funding any programmes that encouraged violence. They were Simple people who stood up against what they saw as wrong and they helped the starving people who others had abandoned.

So not only is the US government and justice system not helping the people there, it is also criminalising those that are. Disgusting.

Am I the only one feeling a little outraged?
