Shocking and outrageous: Jailed for upto 65 years for helping Gazans

Well, it may just be me, but I found it shocking that members of a charity that used money to fund social programmes in Gaza have been convicted with very long jail terms (65 years in a couple of cases), simple because the Gaza Strip is controlled by Hamas.

These people were not militants, nor were they funding any programmes that encouraged violence. They were Simple people who stood up against what they saw as wrong and they helped the starving people who others had abandoned.

So not only is the US government and justice system not helping the people there, it is also criminalising those that are. Disgusting.

Am I the only one feeling a little outraged?
