hello everyone,
i am new to this site and i hope people will be helpfull in answering my questions. first of all i would like to know is piercing the navel for a lady allowed?
thankyou.
assalamu alaikum hijaban
belly piercing is not permissable as i know
Jamee’atul Mufteen (Board of Muftis) comprising of 12 Darul Iftas have ruled in their last sitting that belly piercing for women is not permissible.
and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
hope you choose to go with this answer.
Muhtarama has given the correct answer according to the Ulama of Ahnaaf. Belly piercing is forbidden and not allowed.
with google searches-u can find anything
Ruling Concerning Wearing Nose rings
Question: What is the ruling concerning wearing nose rings for beautification?
Response: It is permissible for a woman to beautify herself according to what is customary, even if that means she has to pierce part of her body, such as is the case with earrings.
^^that fatwa says that if its "customary" she can pierce what she wants
anyway-I'm gonna ask a non-extremist scholar

i dont think so.
maybe his beard is not willing to grow, not everyone is fortunate for the full long beard. my cuz bro never shaved ...years passed still goatee like beard...may he be blessed.
Just like Qari Abdul Basit. He did not keep a beard, but people always tried to excuse it by saying things such as he could not grow one etc.
If you shave, it will not grow.

Alhamdulillah i shall maintain silence in regards to some1s reply to my post.
Can any1 answer what the ahnaaf of minhaj.org say abt the beard and its length. I understood this to be a general questions thread, in which a person can ask a general qsn.
Further, those who belittle the importance of the beard should ponder over the condition of their hearts. By us the ''smallest'' sunnah is more beloved to us than the world and what is in it. I remind the people about my posts regarding the Blessed Goat and Noble Slippers of Nubuwwat salallahu alayhi wa sallam. By us every sunnah, even the Holy Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallams like for kadoo, is a beloved act.
Further, I and the people of our jama'ah are called Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah. viz we are the People of the SUNNAH and the Sahabah Karaam. We are not called the Ahlul Halaal wal Mubaah. viz the People of halaal and permissible acts.
Alhamdulillah we call ourselves the people of sunnah and the Sahabah, there are many things that are halal that are not sunnah, many things mubaah but not sunnah but we claim to be the People of Sunnah and the Sahabah. Hence those who make false claims to be Ahlus Sunnah should ponder, and think over what ALLAH has given them. The beard is indeed a beautiful sunnah, my qsn abt minhaj.org and its views still remain, cud any1 be so kind as to explain the issue to me?
A beard is very important. However it is not the be all and the end all.
The reason Ed always goes on a rant about beards is because he knows some people who will only concentrate on the beard...

I have heard something about it a few years ago.
their position:
A beard is either waajib or Sunnah Muakkadah (I dunno which is their position).
A beard of four sunnah is Sunnah. Four fingers starting under the lip. I think.
There is evidence the prophet trimming his beard, but none of anyone condemning a beard that was smaller than a fist. As there is evidence of people having a beard larger than a fist.
So the final position? Dunno.

u cant take your own interpretation from a fatwa - that one is clearly in response to nose-piercing. ul hav to find one where the question addresses belly button piercing.
btw, it was quite unfair of u to imply that naj's fatwa was automatically by 'extremist' scholars. u should look past the person and see what the scholars have said.
i think the hanafi opinion is that piercing anything other than the ears and nose is forbidden.
