Custard and Jelly!

Right I am downright bored, so I thought I might as well blog about something.
So I sat with my laptop, next to my radiator all cosy and warm and I looked around the room and I couldn’t decide what to write about other than what I did today.
I didn’t want to bore you with what I did today, (unless you want to know about The Triple Alliance and the Manchurian Crisis- yes that’s right, today I revised History- Oh Joy I know!-)
But then my mamma called me downstairs and told me to make Jelly and Custard. Lol

Blind Girl.

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving fiance. He was always there for her. The Blind girl said that if she could only see the world, she would get married.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to the blind girl and then she was able to see the world, including her fiance.
Her fiance asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her fiance was blind too, and refused to marry him.
Her fiance walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to the girl saying. "Just take care of my eyes dear."

When will you take out those pics sisters ?!?

When will you take out those Pics Sisters??

(Once you post your image online, you can't take it back: Family, friends, strangers-Anyone can see it & save the image)

Think...!!!!
Why do you even have your pictures posted on the internet? To show yourself off ?
Are you a display piece ?

Strike a pose!!! And then you've got everybody saying "Heyy!! You looking so nice there honey!!"

And now what happens?? Your head gets a little BIG, you're full of yourself, you start liking this attention.

But is this pleasing to Allah?? Is the attention of all the boys out there more important to you than the attention of Allah?? Wake up!! We need to refrain, We are Muslims!! We are the ones who have consciously submitted to Who???

Muhammad (SAW)

Long ago in a time we call, the ‘olden days’
I spent my time wondering, of what were his ways

Many books have been written
Scripted with words
Encrusted with history
Some of which were not heard.

Filling the pages with words that he spoke
Full of wisdom and love, peace and justice they’d soak

Returning home they would come the next day,
Hungry for more,
Eager and fuller than the day before.

Each would pass on the truth of his words,
To others who had yet not heard.

Much he tried to persuade and teach of his Lord
Yet the ignorant and blind, would never know God.

As the years passed by, the message was spread,
Through the young and the old, each word spoken was said.

Allah took him from here,
From this lonely world
To be with his Lord

sudanese woman whipped for wearing trousers....under her abaya

Me again!!

Like the title suggests...did you guys hear about the sudanese woman receiving multiple whiplashes from different officers whilst other officers are standing by and laughing!! I read the story in the metro..i should probably have put the link on..sorry bout that!

I guess these dimwits dont realise that the whole point of an abay is that it gives u the freedom to wear whatever you like!!

was reading this on the train, which was im sure full of people reading the same story, made me feel so small..

Ashura - Don't forget to fast!!

Hiii

Just a reminder about the 9th & 10th of Muharram.

You can fast either on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th or Thursday and Friday 17th.

Some information on Muharram/Ashura

Abu Qatada reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was asked about fasting the Day of 'Ashura' and said, "It expiates the past year." [Muslim]

Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If I remain alive until next year, I will fast the ninth." [Muslim]

My pen is promised word's till all my people are free

My pen is promised word's till all my people are free
Truth pumps in my arteries causing my page to bleed,
While i'm sat here with a future & a million choices,
I write for the people who aint got no voices,
They dictate their lives, souls & thier minds,
But who can hide the fear in their hearts & their eyes,
Speak to a sister who hasn't got no voice,
& the child who has never played with a toy,
the men who were stripped of their wives & their pride,
when the soldiers arrived & they ended their lives,
I guess it's time that we unite & realise,
That we are living our lives surrounded by their lies,
The media show us what they need us to beleive,
& the papers only write what they want us to read,
The worlds globalised where do they end the community,
