The fine line

Between backing a cause, and being so overly defensive that you 'defend' it even when it's not being attacked but are clearly too blinkered to realise that.

Lovely.

On a side note:

Do you think there are categorical definite moral truths? Such as?

P.s 'Blinkered' = "Having or showing a limited outlook: "a small-minded, blinkered approach".

Comes from I believe "blinkers or winkers, are a piece of horse tack that restrict the horse's vision to the rear and, in some cases, to the side." hence a narrow perception.

Message from Allah in the Sky

I was praying and after that from inside Masgid Haram in Makkah I saw this picture in the clouds. I figured Allah was sending a message it was in the HAJJ 2010.

As I see it the picture tells that 911 was the work of the antichrist Dhajjal. The Dhajjal (antichrist) is shown in the middle of the picture. The Djhajjal has one Eye and a triangle around it, I think this is the sign of the Dhajjal.

The Lion in the picture maybe a sign of Lion of Judas Jesus returning to fix the Dhajjal.

Word G is written on top of the picture for God

Then Pres & TV is written probably meaning Press & TV are instruments of the Dhajjal as they have one eye too.

MUSLIM YOUTH-GANG LEADERS OR WORLD LEADERS ?

“You are the best of the nation raised up for mankind because you enjoin what
is right and forbid the wrong.” [TMQ Ale-Imran: 110]

Allah tells us in this verse of the Qur’an that we are the best
nation raised up from mankind. When many people look
to the reality of the Muslims today and in particular the
reality of the Muslim youth in the West, they think to themselves,
‘how can these people be the best people raised from mankind?’When
they see the Muslim youth involved in gang culture and drug culture,
they can’t see the difference between them and the non-Muslim youth
in society.
We need to look to how the Muslim youth in the past used to be
leaders, not followers of the Kuffar as some of the youth have become

Reciting a set amount of Quran everyday

we should strive to set ourselves daily religious targets.

even if its just half a page or even less of Quran for example.

if we forget or fall asleep then...

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Should anyone fall asleep at night and fail to recite his portion of the Qur’an, or a part of it, if he recites it between the Fajr prayer (The Prayer at dawn) and the Zuhr (The Prayer at noon) prayer, it will be recorded for him as though he had recited it during the night”.
[Muslim].

Let's do it!!

or as the Jap say: Gambattero!

Why hide? Why hide at all.

I see you Mother, I see your face
I see the pain Mother, I see your eyes
I see the grief Mother...
Your words tell all, the slight tremble
That sit upon your lips
Your gaze, a mirror to your soul
Ravaged, in tatters
A keening cry
You sit with a soulless look
You smile, you lie to me
You lie to us all
Where is the pain Mother?
Why hide it, why hide at all
Underneath the shroud of strength
Bitter turmoil
I don’t need your smiles Mother, I want to see pain
I don’t need your consolation
I don’t want your words
I want your pain
That I may share with you
Why hide Mother?
Why hide at all...

Que sera, sera (whatever will be will be)

There was a merchant in Baghdad, who sent his servant to the market to buy provisions and a little while later the servant came back, white and trembling.
He said "Master, just now when I was in the market place I was jostled by a woman in the crowd and when I turned I saw it was death that jostled me. She looked at me and made a threatening gesture. Now please lend me your horse and I will ride away from this city and avoid my fate. I will go to Samara and there death will not find me."

Compulsion for the Unknown

A desire for insanity compels to me
Whispering promises of bliss
A yearning of longing wells within
And I falter
I wish, I pray
The unknown to become the known
I shall fly on the wings of madness
I shall be obliged to hold hands with death
I shall laugh in merriment
Barefoot, bare soul
I shall drop
In to the abyss of nothingness
I shall be free of the forced compulsion
Excused of the horror of obligations
And I shall know no more.
...
Yet I am too weak to embrace the loving touch
Of Freedom
From my sorrows.
