The website is great and I think The Revival is doing a great job because it has certainly changed me. I started to pay more attention to Islam after I read my first revival magazine. So carry on with the great work, you are doing a great job in making today's generation realise what Islam really is.

Hi, I recently got hold of "The Revival" in Birmingham. I live in Sheffield and really would like this magazine to be available down here. It has absolutely opened my eyes and I'm sure many other young people would appreciate it as well.
Thanks

First of all I want to congratulate all The Revival team for doing an excellent job. Mashallah the magazine is really impressive and full of knowledge. It is very good for those people who don't know much about Islam. So this magazine is very useful, very attractive and the issues raised in the magazine are true - it’s what's happening in today's society. Keep it up. Jazakallah Khair for all your efforts.

I love the content in your magazines. I think it is really relevant with what is going in today's society. The youth really needs to come across the message of Islam. I think you are doing a great job & may Allah Ta'ala reward the team for their efforts. You are setting good examples by struggling and striving in the way of Allah. May Allah bless everybody involved.

Congrats. I think this is a wonderful mag that you have put together Mashallah. This is my favourite mag. I picked it up in this mosque in Manchester and I LOVE it. I can't wait 4 the next issue. I especially love the bit about Ali and Jamal, it is very amusing. Ali still has a lot to learn!! Keep up the good work and carry on making more mags in the future!!

Mashallah well done on a wonderful mag - I am a voluntary youth worker and as someone who spends a lot of time with youth doing dawah I have to say it’s nice to read stuff "on their level" - and talking about their issues and not shying away from them. I thought I'd drop you an email and say Mashallah good work.

I extend my full respects to the efforts of the brothers and sisters at The Revival Magazine. It is a noble effort to touch upon the issues of the British Muslim youth.
I make the following criticisms in good faith therefore please do not feel that I am casting a shadow on your good deeds. It is quite obvious when reading, that most articles are written by Muslims of sub-continental Asian origin. There is a dogmatic approach to the Deen prelevant in this branch of Britain's Muslims which is not so common in other Muslim communities. Not all British Muslims are of Pakistani/Indian origin, therefore not all share your cultural traits or approaches.
The magazine is also full of moral judgement rather than moral guidance. Revival writers, please stop patronising the youth by telling them what is a sin and what is not. This is the least effective way to approach the religion or preach it. Pointing at others, and quoting their sins 'one of the greatest in Islam' (please see 'Single, Muslim and Pregnant’) is not the way forward and not worthy of noble Muslim character. It is more commendable simply to highlight what you perceive to be the right or better way. Plus, I am sure you each have a list of sins like every other human being. To write about your own is better than the arrogance and hypocrisy of talking about other people's.
My brothers and sisters in Islam, I do not doubt your sincerity and intentions in writing this magazine. As I said before, I have much regard for what you are doing. But, please do not lose sight of the bigger picture. The grandeur of Allah and our duty towards Allah cannot be reduced to debatable 'rules and regulations'. It should be elevated to the strongest possible bond of love between the creator and his creatures. Do not scare the Muslim youth with our great religion but charm them!
Many thanks. Kindest regards.
