wikipedia is not a Muslim organisation, non-Muslims are free to depict whoever they want. Why dodn't you protest about people depicting the Prophet Isa (as). That is much more widespread.
Also, these pictures were all done by Muslims, throughout history. They are historical documents, no-one's suggesting worshipping these pictures (which is what is meant be idolatry).
