NO TOPIC

You โ€”

Well This is the new No Topic Topic. ๐Ÿ˜›

For those who do not know, this place is to talk about nothing. Nada. Zilch. And everything else which according to you does not deserve it's own topic.

The other one was getting a bit long, and was just full of bickering now.

So we have a new start.

The bickering in the Old no topic should not be carried over to here.

EDIT - go to NO TOPIC the Third.

He means deobandis brelvis etc

Noor โ€” Sun, 3 Feb 2008 - 00:44

he needs to elaborate on what he meant by extra and which jamaats exactly.

Funzo โ€” Sun, 3 Feb 2008 - 00:47

The one im used to is asalaatu asalaamu alayka where as the dawat e islam is asalaatua wasalaamu alayka

MuslimBro โ€” Sun, 3 Feb 2008 - 00:48

Ahmadiyya is one which comes to mind.
The one im used to is asalaatu asalaamu alayka where as the dawat e islam is asalaatua wasalaamu alayka
'wa' means 'and'

sometimes the 'w' sound is lost at the end of the word 'asalatu' when you say it quickly.

i knew wa means and well i sortov knew i should have thought of that.

They don't count because they are not Muslim.

You โ€” Sun, 3 Feb 2008 - 00:56

I think Ya'qub meant those which are actually classified under the umbrella of Islam.

What he means is Deobandi/Brelvi. There are other places which are not sects per se, but follow one person or another almost exclusively to the limit that they are pretty fanatical...
