The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

assalaatu was salAAmu alaika yaa habib allah
assalaatu was salAAmu alaika yaa nabi allah
wa alaa alika wa as habika noor allah

and what is the normal one?

The one im used to is asalaatu asalaamu alayka where as the dawat e islam is asalaatua wasalaamu alayka

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...

Ahmadiyya is one which comes to mind.

'wa' means 'and'

sometimes the 'w' sound is lost at the end of the word 'asalatu' when you say it quickly.

They don't count because they are not Muslim.

I think Ya'qub meant those which are actually classified under the umbrella of Islam.

What he means is Deobandi/Brelvi. There are other places which are not sects per se, but follow one person or another almost exclusively to the limit that they are pretty fanatical...
