after playing monopoly for 2 hours and eventually mortgaging all my properties and selling all houses i had bought, and going bankrupt...i spent til 3am playing it again, determined to win
that is one addictive game
its very interesting when you play by the real rules as opposed to the ones i made up and everyone at home had to follow when we were kids
i think i should start today off with anotehr game.....

i played monopoly over Xmas holidays with my family, it was great except my sister has become VERY competitive in recent years and there was almost a big argument !
My grandad has a little rhyme or short funny phrase for almost every property square or chance/community chest card which adds to the enjoyment by no-end.

well...a lot of them are just saying the actual card/square in a funny voice or tune or whatever... but off the top of my head:
"Picalilli" (Picadilly Circus)
"Pally Mally" (Pall Mall)
"Let's all go down the Strand; have a banana!" (Strand)
"Chest of the Commune" (Community Chest)
"Get out of Frail Jee" (Get out of Jail free card)
"Stale Socks" (Sale of stocks)
and whenever you land on your own property, you have to shout "That's the way to do it!" and then tell everyone else how much they would have to pay you if they landed on it instead.
Plus, whoever gets the orange set (with Bow Street, Vine Street etc) ALWAYS wins. Dunno whether this is a myth or not.

well that definitely means you got spyware!
1. go to add/remove programs in control panel,. get rid of any programs that you have not explicitly installed.
2. Open the file "Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" in a text editor and make sure there is nothing dodgy in there.
3. In the start menu click "run" and type "msconfig" go to the start up tab and make sure there is nothing dodgy in there either - if there is untick it. (to check just type the name into google, or ask)
4. Restart
5. get the spyware programs I mentioned (or even Windows Defender from microsoft). If you still cannot download them, get them through a different pc, or if you want, I can link you to a live cd (which you will need to download and burn to a disc) you can use to download the files.
6. Make sure your a/v is up to date. If it is not, Avast!4home is free after yearly registration and has good detection (but ti is not the fastest). Even better, it speaks to you!
