I find it disgusting when couples are kissing (full on) esp in public and when ur just about to get something to eat. It totally puts me of and makes we want to puke.

lol, my cuz bro and his wife used to share food and hold hands....aaawww
I think that's cute but I wouldn't do that in front of others but I wouldn't do that, just aint me, feeding that is.
As for showing affection in public, holding hands or kiss on the cheek is cute anything more than that is too personal. However like someone has mentioned, for non-Muslims kissing and getting too personal in public is a norm, so nothing you can do about it.

oh come on sisters and brothers if you were married you would on occasion feed your partner or eat from the same plate, nothing to be squeemish about. You guys are in denial right now, but once you're married you'll be eating out your partner's hand literally
It's a way of strengthening the bond between husband and wife, it's a beautiful expression of love nothing ew about it lighten up
As for a shortage of plates muslimbro, yeah you'll find one plate will do for you and your wife once you're married
i think its fine for a muslim couple to kiss only if its in the comfort of their own homes now displaying it in public is another thing im not 100% sure but i believe that its against islam. But showing effection between a husband and wife is good there is nothing wrong with that. :!: :!:

yes it does come on u dnt see many couples barely eat in teh same room let alone teh same plates
It's all about personality, not love.
And about wether you are willing to participate in unfomfortable talk. I find that when eating it's harder to avoid people pinning you down into a conversation. it's not like you can leave.

What about kids?
How appropriate is it for parents to kiss their kids?
And in public? Coz a parent and childs bond is special and unlike any other bond ... even james bond (bad joke).
But some kids are smelly.. i cant imagine anyone wanting to kiss them.

Kissing is ok as long as it is not sexual.
There is a kiss of endearment, and then there is a sensual kiss.
Prophet Muhammad did not mind the former.
I mean if someone while saying goodbye to his woman kisses her
on her forehead, I would not have problem with that.
However, if he were to engage in a long passionte french kiss, then
thats just plain wrong; an act often associated with pram pushers.
Real men dont do that. They save it for the dark.

lol ive never come across a couple who reer to each other as Janu.:D
But i see nothing wrong with that... a little weird maybe but not wrong.
Evidently, ive noticed how some elders (including my parents) do not refer to their partners by name or such. My dad always says 'your mother' and mom always says 'your father'... whats wrong with saying each others name?
