Its not from a document.
I was talking to someone knowledgeable about Kashmir.
That was an offhand remark he made.
I did not ask him about Bangladesh.
I am asking you.
I share no guilt over what happened .I share no responsibility over it.
Nor does anyone on here.
But you are passionate, so I asked you about the grouping of the soldiers. I would assume you have looked into it.
Weere they punjabs, Balochi's sindhi's sarhadi's or bengli's?
I know that Sarhadi's (and Balochi's) helped out in kashmir in 1947.
And people from east pakistan were discriminated against in getting into the armed forces, because there was a minimum height restriction.
So I am asking who was involved.

I’m not asking for sympathy, nor hold you responsible or any other British born Pakistani responsible for your countries crimes- however for Muslim to seek justice all must come to together and vocally express these war criminals are brought to Justice- this includes the God fearing Pakistani with a conscience.
Already a well documented historic fact many or if not the majority of the soldier’s station in Bangladesh where of Punjabi ethnic origin and Bihari (Urdu speaking Bengali) – once Pakistan was defeated the Bihari became refugee’s, effectively Pakistan cut of all ties with them and did not give them asylum in Pakistan. And Indira Gandhi, expressed full support of her government to the Bangladeshi struggle for freedom
It wasn’t just discrimination into the military you forgot to mention the economic exploitation of east Bangladesh, a systematic campaign to make the Bangladesh subserviently to it’s colonial masters. Mass arrests of dissidents began, and attempts were made to disarm East Pakistani soldiers and police, many of Bangladesh top academics and intellects where assassinated.

Fall?
lol Muslim Unity is such a buzz word.
Every group uses it to justify their existence or their actions - in fact as a very general rule it seems like the groups that shout it the loudest are usually the most fringe.
Have you guys ever been unified? It seems like the only person to accomplish that was your prophet.
Because immediately following that you started having disputes about who should lead, doctrinal differences and you never really came back together.
Even the "Caliphate" seems a bit of an illusion - it ignores the shifting dynasties doctrinal differences held in check by threat of force and the eventual severing of the empire into two portions - Spain and the rest. Followed by massive revolts from within and invasions from without, by other muslims like the Turks.
It doesn't even seem like you can decide why to unify or to unify around what. Most people say "Islam" but honestly - is bin Laden offering you Islam when he asks for muslim unity? Are Wahhabis offering you Islam when they ask for muslim unity? - Is MPAC offering you Islam?
It's always issue driven "drive out the kaffir from muslim lands" "end oppression against muslims" "destroy dangerous heresies trying to destroy Islam."
Those are temporary states - problems that face the entire muslim world, and while it certainly can be helped through islamic "unity" how is political unity or a Caliphate really going to make a difference. And once those problems are solved... then what? All of a sudden you have this thing of unity built around addressing temporary problems and you don't know what to do with it when they are gone.
For unity of any kind to be meaningful and last it must be built on an honest lasting foundation.
So it seems to me that the temporary togetherness you are essentially buying from the Bengalis by asking them to set it aside and let it go for the sake of "unity" so that it will be easier to facilitate dealing with Islam's temporary problems is building on false foundations - which will collapse when these problems go away.
But actual reconciliation that derives from Pakistan accepting what it did and making positive steps to prevent it in the future - thereby regaining the trust and sense of common direction from Bengalis - creates a better foundation for lasting unity built around the idea of mutual trust and common direction in Islam, which are long term reasons for unity - not answers for short term problems.
So that makes me think that both Shazan and Yuit are talking about the same thing - unity. But I think Shazan's is more in the long term lasting direction kind of way.
Neither of you are using unity as an excuse or misdirection for hidden desires to see nationalist agendas put forward. So it's not right to accuse each another of not caring about preserving brotherhood.
You're just looking at the same thing from two very different angles.

although i don't agree entirely with some of brother Yuits views on the subject one thing i agree with is manners. Who wants to give time to someone who can't give you some basic respect? No matter what the argument maybe if you can't command some common curtesy to the person you're addressing, it's best you keep silent altogether, coz it will fall to deaf ears.
I doubt brother Shazan would take kindly to anyone speaking disrespectfully to his own brother or sister, so maybe he should think twice about speaking with such contempt towards members on this forum, simply because they lack knowledge on the subject. Yes we lack knowledge we have admitted that, but rubbing it in our face won't make you a better person or further your cause.
I'm sure there are subjects out there on which you lack knowledge how would you feel if someone spoke to you rudely simply because of that?
