Gossip Queens and back stabbing

If an Islamic organisation is going to do something, I would expect it to have a basic level of standards:

  1. To not gossip
  2. To really do things for the sake of Allah and not for personal gain.
  3. To realise that humans are humans and cannot be perfect all the time and to give people an opportunity to repent and mend their ways.
  4. To not stab fellow Muslims in the back.

Granted organisations such as MPAC seem to not follow number 3 very well, but I had expected the following of the rest to be easier. However it seems that some gossip is just too juicy for them to not comment on.

How postal vote fraud let Nick Griffin into Europe

About a week before every local election my councillor, a Pakistani, goes round to several houses in the area to collect people's postal votes. He sits in the front room as the man of the house gathers the purple and white postal vote envelopes of every registered voter in his family. The councillor then tells the man of the house where to sign for himself and the rest of the family. Once the signatures have been done, the councillor takes the envelopes, ballot papers and all, with him.

All postal votes gathered in this way come from Pakistani families. Many of whom would most likely have voted for him anyway. But to save these loyal and trusted voters from the hassle of taking two minutes out of their day to go and vote at a polling station the councillor has persuaded them all to apply for postal votes – votes which can be submitted a week before polling day.

In this way, he manages to secure a landslide victory for himself and his party colleagues well before the polls even open. I would hazard a conservative guess and say that he manages to bag over one thousand votes in this way.

"Muhammad(P.B.U.H) The Final Legacy" is Islam Channel’s first epic drama film series. It is filmed in Arabic with English subtitles with over 203 Syrian, Jordanian and Lebanese famous artists.

The series depicts the main key events that occurred in the life of Muhammad , starting from the day Abdul Muttalib (his grandfather) looked after him as an orphan after the death of his father through to the day the great leader of Mankind passed away.

The production budget exceeded $2.000.000. Nevertheless, neither high production, nor high cast can portray the greatness of our beloved Prophet Muhammad .

A Thinking Extract

When I was an undergraduate I tutored a blind student in statistics; once a week he would make his way, with his guide dog, to my small office in the basement of the psychology building. I was very affected by working with him, seeing how difficult it was for him to do the things I so much took for granted and by watching the extraordinary close relationship he had with his collie, who having accompanied him to the office would immediately curl up and fall asleep at his feet. As the term went on I felt increasingly comfortable in asking him about what it was like to be blind; what it was be blind, young and an undergraduate at the University of California; and what it was like to have to be so dependent upon others to learn and survive.

"Three Tough Questions"

There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time.
When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his 3 Questions. Finally, his parents were able to find a Muslim scholar.
young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?
Scholar: I am one of Allah (SubHana Wa Ta`ala )'s slaves and Insha-Allah (God willing), I will be able to answer your questions.
Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to answer my questions.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allah(SubHana Wa Ta`ala).
Young Man: I have 3 questions:

1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
2. What is thaqdir (fate)?

Tbh i kind of find it a bit odd, people saying "unborn children" and "it doesn't matter at what stage they are in the womb, they're still human"

They're not 'unborn children' or humans YET, they're foetuses

Islamically, are we supposed to consider them children? They have no organs or anything... what makes them human?
