The Prophet (saw) swords

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Some scholars are of the opinion that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) had 9 swords. The famous Hanafi jurist ‘allāmah Badr al-dīn al-῾Aynī is of the opinion that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) had 10 swords. Muhammad ibn Yūsuf al-Sahihī ash-Shāmī rahimahullah states in his famous work in sīrah that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) had 11 swords. The difference of opinion is based on the fact that each scholar narrated what he was aware of.
1) The sword Dhul-faqār:
Dhul-faqār means the one with holes or the one with protrusions. This sword is named Dhul-faqār because it has holes or protrusions on it.

Iran v USA

2011

IRAN READY TO FIGHT U.S.

Ayatollah Khamanei said his nation is ready to take on the might of America in any war.

In a speech, Iranian leader said U.S. would face an "iron fist".

Iran has never been defeated by United Stated since the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Washington is desperate to break that record. It wants to show that it can achieve victory against Iran.

It is currently using the IAEA, International Atomic Energy Agency, to wip up fear of Iran. Aim is to make Arab nations take on Iran. That is because U.S. itself fears a war with Iran. It is in no position to confront Iran. U.S. forces are already struggling badly against the poorly armed Talibans. Some experts even speak of imminent defeat for America in Afganistan.

For me

For me,
-the happiness of a child i've never met
-the thought that an orphan will eat tonight
-the idea that a child will learn something that will save his or her life
-the concept of giving hope to children who have seen what no child should have ever seen

for me, this is more important than writing a personal statement about how amazing i am because of the life opportunities that have come my way that i have no control over, its more important than selling myself to a university which only wants the top of everything and dont really care about Lilly, its more important than summarizing my life in 4,000 words.

so, during charity week. i didnt touch my personal statement and devouted myself to this cause. to what mattered.

In The Name Of Allah...

Asslamu'Alaykoum Biggrin

Just had to share some of these: Please take the time to read it all, jazakhallah..

The Beloved Prophet(saw) said;

> "If you read the Kalimah with conviction just once, Jannah becomes upon you

> "I only curse 3 types of people;"

1) Those who do not look after their parents when they are in old age
2) Those people who do not take the full advantage of the blessed month of Ramadan
3) Those people who do not say 'Saalallahu-Alayhay-wa-aalahay-wassalam' when my name is mentioned

> An intelligent person is one who is constantly thinking about and preparing for death

Isn't it funny?

Funny how we believe what the newspapers say.... but question what the Qur'an says...
