Proud to be a Fundamentalist

I am a fundamentalist Muslim who, by the grace of Allah(swt), knows, follows and strives to practise the fundamentals of Islam.

A true Muslim does not shy away from being a fundamentalist. I am proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim because, I know that the fundamentals of Islam are beneficial to humanity and the whole world. There is not a single fundamental of Islam that causes harm or is against the interests of the human race as a whole.

Many people have misconceptions about Islam and consider several teachings of Islam to be unfair or improper.

Gifted or the chosen one!

Which ever way you gonna call it, it’s the same to me!. I mean, there are people who are gifted with something special . Some would know it immediately but some would only know that they are gifted after many people told them.

OK, what a hell I’m talking about! . Well, for example, Mujahid'is been gifted to be loved by girls, I mean, when girls look at Mujahid' they go WoW! That sort of thing!! You know what I mean!!

The chosen one!!, simply, a leader!! . You automatically become the leader of your group, i.e. by default and everyone in the family accept it!. So, it goes like this!!

Allah (swt) says: "Do men think that they will be left alone on

test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who
are true from those who are false." (Al-Ankabut, 29:2-3)

With any incidents related to Muslims nowadays Muslim women are
usually the first to bear the brunt of an Islamophobic backlash.

Assalámu'alaikum wa Rahmatulláhi wa Barakátuhu.

These include lectures, regular circles, classes and sports activities, as well as one-off seminars, conferences and exhibitions. We also put up notices for accomodation, jobs, items for sale, Islamic projects, schools, counselling services, etc. Many of you will already be familiar with the noticeboard, having received weekly e-mails over the last year.

"Islamophobia"?

Is anyone else uncompfortable with the official use of this term.

I don't like it primarily because it just sounds like a quickly thought up term indicative of the sloganistic culture we live in.

Secondly a phobia is a psychological condition based on childhood experiences so it isn't even relevant in that sense.

I don't think there's a problem using it on forums and stuff but when I hear adult muslims using it on TV it does sound slightly childish and embarrasing.

Zaki Badawi barred from US

This is getting ridiculous. First Yusuf Islam, then Tariq Ramadan, and now Dr Zaki Badawi!!

I've read of Dr Badawi described as 'if there was a Grand Mufti of Great Britain, Zaki Badawi would be it' (but that was in the Guardian). Regardless, Zaki Badawi is a highly respected scholar. Dr Badawi used to be Chief Imam at Regents Park mosque.

The US is seriously taking the mick.

British Muslim leader Sheikh Dr Zaki Badawi has said he has been refused entry to the US without explanation.
