The 7 sleepers of Ephesus

salaam all,
i just wondered whether anyone does really know about the seven sleepers that are mentioned in the Quran. i gathered some historical information about them...well ....i hope you find it interesting...cos i did...they slept for 300 long years!!!!!

[color=red]Decius came to Ephesus between 249 and 251 AD to enforce his laws against Christians. They were very hard and meant persecution. Seven noble young men, named Maximillian, Jamblichos, Martin, John, Dionysios, Exakostodianos, and Antoninos, were found to be Christians.

OK..this is a sensitive one. I would appreciate answers /thoughts from men and women please.
Am i the only Guy out there who wants his wife to be 'sexy' for him? I like my wife to dress up for me, some make up, some perfume and sometimes some sexy clothing, mini skirt , tight top etc. Obviously all in the confines of the home.
She hates doing it, even the make up and perfume. She dresses in the house almost as she dresses out of the house (ie minus hijab). To me its frustrating. All around us in this society are images of women, designed to 'turn men on'.

My dad’s been away for the last three weeks. He came home yesterday….and only when he walked through the door I realised I REALLY missed him.

This thread will be a sort of fathers appreciation thread (linking in with the last “mother’s appreciation” thread).

Anyone can be a father…but it takes a special kind of guy to be a daddy.

In my house, my brother doesn’t really have that much of a good relationship with dad…he’s closer to mum. That’s because my dad has a tight leash on him. Dad happens to be closer to his daughters.
