Muslims at university are faced with many problems, obstacles and challenges. Whether they are in their home cities or have moved, having left home for the first time. They prepare themselves for the problems of coping with the workload, organizing their time, accommodation and coursework.

Old Folks Home

I have my nanny staying over for a few weeks…she’s an interesting lady.

I rate my nans strength and character…she became a widow at a young age and brought up and married off six children despite living in relative poverty.

She is nothing like my mum and can at times be outrageous in her views and opinions.

My nan often says extremely embarrassing stuff to me in front of friends and family that makes me cringe.

Some people get funny in their old age. They become child like…they’re blunt, abrupt, impatient, embarrassing and at times incredibly annoying.

Festival of Muslim Cultures

The Festival of Muslim Cultures

begins in January 2006 and continues into July 2007.

The events that are being programmed into the Festival year are chosen because they are the best of the arts from the Muslim world, both contemporary and historical. Also because they portray diversity and plurality, giving Muslims living in Britain greater pride in their cultures and a true sense of belonging to Britain.

im planning to start learning how to drive by the end of this year.....

i just cannot wait to start learning, me and my younger brother are the

only ones left to learn how to drive,

i think its very important for everyone to learn espec the women..it comes in use when you least expect it,

before i wasnt to keen but i've realised how useful it is like today there was no-one present to drop my dad of to preston hospital...so my mum drove despite being a proper nervous driver...she doesnt normally drive much but there was no-one else. She started to panic when she got of the wrong junction on the moterway lol...and then nearly took the sign to south birmingham...but luckily naj used her brains and got her onto the M65..hehehe

Why why why

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the
batteries are getting weak?

Why do banks charge a fee on "insufficient funds" when they know
there is not enough?

Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion
stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

Why doesn't glue stick to the bottle?

Why do they use sterilized needles for death by lethal injection?

Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you
throw a revolver at him?

Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
