10 steps to getting closer to Allah this Ramadan

Hadhrat Salmaan reports that on the last day of Sha'baan the Messenger of Allah (Pbuh) addressed them and said, "Oh people, there comes before you now a great month, a most blessed month in which lies a night more greater in Virtue than 1,000 months; (LAYLATUL-QADR). It is a month in which each day should be observed by fasting, this has been made obligatory by the Almighty Allah."

In this most blessed month of Ramadhaan ALL good deeds are multiplied:

10 Good things a Women can do on her Menses during Ramadan

Almighty Allah has made it easy for a women to gain good deeds during her menses for she is still able to get the same rewards as men during Ramadan if not more.

She gains the same reward as men doing their prayers in the Masjid and at the same time she is absolved of praying and does not have to make up for them afterwards. The good deed accounts don't stop when a women is menstruating for the angels are continuing writing down good deeds as long as a women is doing good actions in order to please Allah.

The following are 10 good acts a women can do whilst on her menses in Ramadan:

Tipton nail bomb could have hit hundreds

Bit late to share this news, but for those who haven't seen this, cuz it was apparently unworthy of being front paege news:

A one-hour delay to traditional Friday prayers saved hundreds of people from a nail bomb blast at a Black Country mosque.

A terrorism investigation is under way after the explosion near a Tipton mosque that sent nails and debris flying into buildings.

Counter terrorism police, the army and bomb disposal teams swooped after residents heard a loud bang near the Kanz-ul-Iman Muslim Welfare Association Central Jamia Mosque in Binfield Street.

Officers are reportedly concentrating on a disused rail track near the mosque.
