The warning came ahead of an October 26 initiative to defy a longstanding driving ban on women in the ultra-conservative kingdom.
"Physiological science" has found that driving "automatically affects the ovaries and pushes up the pelvis," Sheikh Saleh al-Luhaydan warned women in remarks to local news website Sabq.org.

More than a quarter of 18 to 24-year-olds in Britain do not trust Muslims, a BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat poll suggests.
Of the 1,000 young people questioned, 28% said Britain would be better off with fewer Muslims, while 44% said Muslims did not share the same values as the rest of the population.
Some 60% thought the British public had a negative image of Muslims.

Could it be that the Student Loans are in reality a graduate tax and not really a loan.
They seem to me like income tax which is a progressive form of tax -- the more you earn the more you will pay. Low income earners will not pay anything and after 30 years there will be nothing to pay.
If tomorrow the Goverment change the name and call this a graduate tax and not loan -- the reality may stay the same but everyone will then say that Degrees are now Halal.

A Nigerian woman has been crowned Miss World Muslimah 2013.
Obabiyi Aishah Ajibola was awarded the accolade at the third annual event in Jakarta, Indonesia.
"We're just trying to show the world that Islam is beautiful," the 21-year-old told Agence France-Press on Wednesday.
"It was not really about competition," she added.
Ajibola, who wept and dropped to her knees while reciting verses from the Quran, was awarded with prize money of £1,365 and trips to Mecca and India.
The annual pageant, held exclusively for Muslim women, assesses not only the appearance of contestants, but also their piety and religious knowledge.
