Government to attack "unbritish" Muslim behaviour

The last government had a "prevent" strategy to fight (mostly Muslim) extremism (which had some good goals but was also used to spy on the Muslim community and had a pretty negative image within the Muslim community).

Now this government wants to replace it with another one, but this instead of targeting violence or the promotion of violence, instead wants to focus on fighting what the government considers .

David Cameron joins the EDL!

David Cameron has criticised "state multiculturalism" in his first speech as prime minister on radicalisation and the causes of terrorism.

At a security conference in Munich, he argued the UK needed a stronger national identity to prevent people turning to all kinds of extremism.

He also signalled a tougher stance on groups promoting Islamist extremism.

The speech angered some Muslim groups, while others queried its timing amid an English Defence League rally in the UK.

Either that, or he is jumping on what he considers to be an "easy" political bandwaggon.

[TV] Panorama: British Schools, Islamic Rules

The blurb for the show from the :

Investigation which uncovers disturbing evidence that some Muslim children are being exposed to extremist preachers and fundamentalist Islamic groups. We also expose the part-time schools where hate is on the curriculum. The programme asks why school inspectors have missed the warning signs and examines the impact this could have on young Muslims' ability to integrate into mainstream British life.

To me it seems like scaremongering mostly...

The Big Debate: Are They Gonna Kick Us Out?

Author:
Naheem Zaffar & Irfan Jalil

Anti-Muslim prejudice is rising across Europe. There are calls for bans on Muslim immigration, bans on the construction of mosques and a ban on women wearing the veil. France has already barred Muslim girls from wearing the hijab in school and Switzerland has banned the construction of minarets.

In Britain, the British National Party is gaining greater prominence. It calls Islam a “wicked and vicious faith” and its leader, Nick Griffin, is set to become an MP in the next general election.

What does all this mean for the millions of Muslims in Britain and Europe. Should we be scared for our future in Britain and Europe? Naheem Zaffar says YES. He argues that Europe is on the brink of repeating the mistakes of history by allowing far-right parties to gain power. Irfan Jalil says NO. He argues that the far-right can only gain power if we fail to engage politically.

Does Britain want to integrate with you?

ok, we have all heard the mantra. Its almost religious now, reaching feven pitch. You will even read it in The Revival Magazine, since our editor seems to be big on the idea. The mantra I am speaking of is one of integration - "Muslims, you gotta integrate, get with the times. "If you're not a part of the solution, your a part of the problem." seems to be the idea.

But what this ignores is the other side of the argument - does Britain at large want to integrate with us, or is it simply a hollow chant allowing extremist views to be propagated into the mainstream?

Learning from the Gypsy community

A while ago on the forums I was linked to a Channel 4 Production titled "" - a look at the gypsy community, its challenges and its customs.

It was quite an eye opener for me and I think we should envy some of the things they have accomplished and others they have managed to keep. Ideas that many Muslims are rebelling against, they have managed to keep. Using to describe a few of the things I am talking about:

The parents don't want kids to drink, smoke, do drugs, or go out on their own/without their permission.

No 'relations' before marriage

George Carey isn't helping

wants to limit immigration in order to protect this country’s Christian heritage and restrain the far right. Yet it is his jaundiced view of the state of this country that gives comfort and succour to the bigots and racists.

Rather than looking honestly at issues of integration, extremism and community cohesion, he repeats misconceptions about immigrants and yearns for an unattainable, simpler, imagined past. It is his prescription of curbs on immigration, curbs on the rights of immigrants, curbs on the expression of immigrant culture, and, crucially, limits on population size that will help not hinder the nightmare future of a Britain ruled by dogmatic extremists.

BNP paves way to admit non-whites

British National Party leaders have voted "overwhelmingly" to ballot members on changing its constitution to allow non-white members to join.

Leader Nick Griffin said he welcomed the change, which the party had been "moving towards" for years.

If the new membership rules are approved, the BNP would be brought in line with the recent Equality Bill.

The party's "closed for business" talks in Hindley Green, Wigan, came on the first day of its annual conference.

The BNP scaremongering against Islam and Muslims?

Allahu Akbar – The enemy within

Events in the United States of America at a military base in Texas show how dangerous the wrong kind of policies of the so called politically correct elites can be. Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a psychiatrist working for the US Army, shouted Allahu Akbar (God is Great) and opened fire and killed thirteen people who were caught totally unprepared.

The British National Party opposes the illegal military intervention of Western forces in Islamic countries. We have rejected the said intervention from the very beginning because we see it as neo-colonialism and by the same token the British National Party reclaims the fundamental right of the British peoples of being the masters of their own destiny in Britain.
