i couldnt help but notice that whenever new members sign up they always start a new thread to introduce themselves. Rocky isnt the first, many before him have done this. You aint gonna like this admin coz it involves work but im gonna say it anyway lol. Instead of having the new member thread in general as sticky (which most new members will not know what is meant by sticky coz no one bothers to read the rules ) why dont you move it over to the main forum page, perhaps before general so it is the first thing new members noitce.
The pros and cons of this idea
pros - saves the time and effort of having to lock threads and less spam
cons- involves you doing some work (which to me really isnt a con coz its your job to ensure the smooth running and success of the forum).

i think its a brill idea. You got any other suggestions?

Yeah, let's keep it as it is.
every time we get a newbee they always set up a new thread to introduce themselves for the simple reason that they dont see the new member thread. (hopefully rocky will be able to confirm this point). Then someone from this forum points out there is a new member thread but says it in a really cocky way (well sounds like that to me anyway). Most newbees from that point never post again coz you have blatantly embrassed them!
im still in agreement with this idea and so is rocky the newbee. You and the he she (M4k4v3l1) lol are against it so its 2 all.

Newbies HAVE to post in the new members thread (which can be highlighted and in bold when they first join so they notice it) to introduce themselves then they can post on other threads and create their own ones.

Even if we do implement that idea there no guarantee they would use it. Much like the New Members Thread they would probably ignore that too.
Either way wether the glass is half empty or half full when you turn it upside down you have a wet carpet.
Mez. You have been slowly collecting an extensive database of all the Revival's favorite chocolate bars.
Do you plan to send us all our favorites for Eid?
