Theres too much stuff going on in TOOTP to keep all of it.
Altho i'll be really miffed if they leave out the bit where Umbridge has to chase the fireworks around the castle or when the DA gets created or even when Umbridge gets carried away by centars.

They went and locked your thread....
Nevermind, here's a link you might enjoy - it involves your Avatar's character
Basically it shows Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn/Strider) speaking out against the war on Iraq, likening the US to the forces of Sauron...
Oh, hang on the video link's not working?!....
(EDIT: Please stay with us, normal service will be resumed shortly....)
I really liked Harry Potter, the plot twists in the first four books were above and beyond anything that I expected from a children’s book and the Prisoner of Azkaban has to be my favourite out of the whole series…
However I felt really let down by ‘The Order of the Phoenix’ – a book the size of a house brick, yet it lacked any real substance. It definitely needs editing, there’s just too much waffle...
I wasn’t even that bothered when ***** ***** died, I just wanted the book to end…
In fact that experience was so bad that I haven’t even read ‘The Half-blood Prince’, although my brothers have and they were indifferent about it…
Sorry, I know I’ve probably upset some Potter fans but hey it’s just my opinion and what do I know. :?
I have read something good, but it’s not really linked to this thread...
Hmmm...How can I link this in with LOTR?
Well, Tolkien was an author who lived in Oxford and this author currently lives in Oxford – his name’s Philip Pullman and he’s written ‘His Dark Materials’ which is an amazingly well written trilogy of books.
Okay, the last book is typical of what an Atheist would want to think of the world but other than that the way he interweaves his writing and blends in the poetry of Milton and Blake is wonderful.
Also it’s the only story that I know of where the hero (Lyra) is a little girl…
Has anyone else here read it?

But its not my fault (the typical remark from any time-wasting slacker) you see I really need a Sister to help me with the Sisters' section but I think they're all being put off by my insistence that we should have a recipe/cookery section:
"Recipes?! Muslim women have more to offer than just work around the kitchen! Haven't you heard of blah, blah, blah."
Listen, I'm not saying that Women should only stay in the Kitchen and do nothing else, all that I'm saying is that cooking, for women and men, is a great skill to learn.
I know that the same women who are saying
"You won't see me chained to the Kitchen stove; I've got more important things to do like..." in their teens and twenties will be saying,
"I really wish I knew how to cook a good, delicious meal" when they're in their thirties. Things change when you have a family to care for - You will want to provide the best for your family (what Mother wouldn't) and cooking wholesome, nourishing, tasty food is one aspect of that...
I remember on another thread that MuslimSisLilSis was saying how complicated just making Chapattis were, and that’s my point. The earlier you start to learn these skills the better you'll become and the more enjoyable you'll find it...
Well that's my point of view anyway...
Maybe I'm wrong perhaps it'll be better to leave out the recipe/cooking section.....I don't know....
Well, let's see how things pan out.....
May peace be blessed upon you.

Why doesn't Harry just pull out his lightsabre and stab some witches up. (evils one's, that is).
The Gandalf could light up a sheesha and be like," hmm, Go Harry, Go Harry Go!" and he could pull his staff out and pull some crazy hocus pocus, and kill all those evil nasty goblin dudes"
We could burn the Hog school down and they all lived happily ever after.

Doubtful, Regulus was a 'propper' Black into all that pureblood cr@p. He was also a Death Eater who got in a little over his head. When he tried to back out Tom had him killed.
Im not sure exactly how dead Sirius is... after all he fell thru that arch in the department of mysteries... its never explained ....until the next book.
Harry is also going to search Godric's Hollow (notice this is also where his parents where killed we should learn a little more about them) insearch of a Horocrux. Aswell as a little more on Dumbledores agreement with Petunia, as theres something more to her than meets the eye.
