It would have been more embarrassing if you said it to her face...
and yes, I have been there.
A colleague once complained about me. The manager confronted me, and I had no idea whether to use he or she for the complainant. I used both alternatively, which was probably worse since he/she was in the same room!

She said its actually "bitcharee", and it means:
"A sad woman who has no life, and, who, either has no man, or, whose man will soon dump her."
Wow. One word can mean all that !!
Now I agree when it is said that Pakis have a very versatile language.
However, I dont think that word describes you Sumaiya.

My tongue is, in no way, in any need, of restraining during Ramadan.
Your imagination, however, is another story.
I was only talking about Courage's desire to fight.
After all, he is Courageous.

Please people stop sabotaging topics it seems every topic has this he,she debate going on.
About British schools if you can't beat them then you must join them. Be excellent at everything you do. Afterall we spend a large part of our youth in these institutions we might as well get the best out of them.
It is true Islam's contribution to the Renaissance of Europe and world civilization is not taught but then we have to do some extra curricular studies for ourselves, this only makes us twice as good. We all know knowledge is power.
Our culture and religion may be different to our teachers, I see this as coming to education with an added advantage. We are able to see a multiple of dimensions whilst they may only have one perspective. Knowledge of living with 2 cultures and at least 2 languages is better then only having half of that, surely everyone can see this including our teachers, and our leaders.
If the muslim youth could meet their potential then they would be occupying every seat of power in this country.
