Really Naj and you would listen to me babble on about the science of tea?
If so, wait for me to dig out my thesis on tea.
And I don’t say this often, but you could be my friend now.

Home alone, No sisters.
Yesterday i cooked everything myself. But today (well sunday...) I was slightly lazy. got precooked chicken nuggets, and hadsome left over jalfrezi.
And got some chips from someone elses house.
I broke my first rule there. I had decided not to eat in anyone elses house, as last time I managed to do that everyday... after the first few days I had no choice as people thought I was trying to insult them, or wouldnot take no for an answer.
This timeI made it abundantly clear that i was gonna do everything myself. Gets rid of the hassle of everyone mithering you, even though they have the best intentions.
I love yoghurt though... I might try lassi curry in a few days...

I will probably try that in a few days...
Today i was lazy. got to town at half 9 so thought may aswell get a takeout.
The thing about cooking for yourself is that it does not matter if its good or bad. well it matters, but you do not subject someone else to torture if it is bad.
I am home alone for hiopefully more tha two months... so takeouts are not really a good idea.
Too much tea is not good for you. But for that you need to basically binge on it. a decent amount of tea is good for you. It relaxes the mind. Gets rid of headaches. and the caffeine helps wake you up.
However most asians put way too much sugar in tea. and the normal 'paki tea' where you boil it in milk is strong and can be bad for you...
well that is what i have heard anyway...

personally i think they both as hard as each other
in my house-older sis has mastered rolling chappati's but not mixing the flour
whilst i have mastered mixing the flour and not rolling round chappati's yet
it takes AGES to learn how to get the water quantity right
u only learn thru trial and error
Trust me the kneading is hard...
Like lilsis said it took me years.... just about got the hang of it...
the rolling isnt as hard...but perfect circle is something thats not by me yet
both take years of practice
but it just takes a tad longer to learn how to make round chappati;s

Admin, your attempt was impressive. If I was home alone I wouldn’t bother….I don’t see the point for cooking for one.
Daal (lentils) is a pretty easy dish and so is chicken…and you can do lots of things with chicken.
And Shazam…I heard tea isn’t good for you :? (green tea is though).
:?
do tell us how that goes
I will probably try that in a few days...

i drink tea twice a day
only english tea though with two sugars
surely that cant be bad for me
oooh boy... this is bad.
I woke up at 4:30am feeling really nauseous and now my vision is getting blurry and i'm dehydrated can't breathe and shivering.
Not good... no damn good
I think i've got some kinda food poisoning
awww Davie boys ill
wrap up warm, stock up on fluids and stay in bed all day
and keep ur lurgies to urself
Now you know why I do not smoke:
Smoking: The killer facts
One-quarter of adults in the UK smoke, down from half 30 years ago.
Smokers puff their way through 77 billion cigarettes annually.
Almost one-third of girls aged 15 and 16 smoke.
People in the 20 to 24 age group smoke the most - 38 per cent of men and 34 per cent of women.
The Government says a ban would encourage 700,000 smokers to quit in the first year.
Britain has the highest tobacco taxes in the EU, with £3.84 in every £4.80 pack of cigarettes going to the Treasury.
These duties total £9.5bn annually.
Three of the world's five biggest tobacco firms are British and make £2.9bn in pre-tax profits.
Every year, 100,000 people die because of smoking: 33,000 of them from lung cancer.
Smoking costs the NHS almost £2bn a year.
For the long-term smoker, life expectancy is 8 to 12 years less than a non-smoker.
Exposure to passive smoke increases the risk to a non-smoker of heart disease and lung cancer by 25 per cent, according to one study.
Another study finds the passive smoking link unproven.
Ireland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Malta and New Zealand have so far introduced a ban.
A publicans' group says that a ban could mean losses of £3.5bn for the industry and cost 75,000 jobs.
Of those who go to pubs, 46 per cent are smokers.
A survey of 3,000 people last year found that 71 per cent were in favour of a total smoking ban

Yes. Let a GP examine you. Its most probably nothing. But its a good idea to be safe.
