An old man and a young boy were traveling through their village with their donkey. The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked.
As they went along they passed some people who remarked it was a shame the old man was walking and the boy was riding.
The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions.
Later, they passed some people that remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk." They then decided they both would walk.
Soon they passed some more people who thought they were stupid to walk when they had a decent donkey to ride. So, they both rode the donkey.
Now they passed some people that shamed them by saying, "How awful to put such a load on a poor donkey."
The boy and man said they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey.
As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the animal and he fell into the river and drowned.
The moral of the story?
Everyone should mind their own friggin buisness and butt outta other peoples lives
the asian community thinks they have a divine right to spend ALL their time telling others what to do, what to wear, what to eat, how to walk and even how to breathe
being told what to do is a touchy subject for me
how many ppl here strongly believe in the "it my life" so I'll do what i want motto ?
Then move!

Always saying that its my life, I can do whatever I want,
and that others should mind their own business, does not work in real world.
Just think about it.
No man is an island.
That means its not totally your life.
Others affect you, and your affect others.
We are connected to others around us in more ways
than we sometimes are willing to admit.
However, I do believe that we ought to be helpful to
one another, rather than be critical or nasty.
We should uplift people, rather than put them down.
We ought to encourage, rather than intimidate.
When we go from this world, we should leave friends, rather than enemies.
Omrow
move where?
An aunty of mine always says to me.."listen to everyone, but ultimatley do what YOU want to do".
Its true that even if you listen to everyone it'd drive you crazy and also its impossible to please everyone.

that why my favourite saying is "live and let live"
live and let live!!!!!!!
i agree with u omro-
BUT sometimes waht we do/dont do doesnt really affect those around us
which is why-ppl need to learn when to butt out and mind their own buisness
over enthusiastic aunties they look so hurt when you ask them to mind their own so i just dont any more. they have the best intentions i'm sure
however in most cases its simple good manners to mind your own business
i especialy dont like the crafty ones that tell you a long story about something and only days later you realise they were giving you a lesson or in most cases telling you off and pushing you to do the 'right thing'. this way they avoid the confrontation of being knocked back but still manage to give you a lesson 'naseeat'
I dont tend to go to peoples' houses often, well only my frendz and they dont shuv food in my face. But it does get fairly annoying when the ladies do and if you refuse they may get offended, but almost every asian woman alway says no to food when guest offer it to them and then only after the woman bugging them for 5 minz do they give in (i bet they really want to say yes asoon as they set eyes on the delicious food! hehe)
Everyone has a right to their own life. to make it as successful or not as they like.
Even, I dare say it, a right to failure.
and I do not get why everyone is worried about others opinions so much. you can never please everone, so why even bother?
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
The moral of the story is dont judge urself on other people opinions judge urself on what you think allah s.w.t thinks of you. If you think allah is pleased carry on if you think allah isnt pleased then stop. At the end of the day those people judging you arent goin to judge you on qiyamaat (judgement day)
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...
i hate it when people keep asking you why you do stuff, it's like, if you don't like it then don't look! :x
Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.
