True and you are certainly the second type as you said 3 types however you meant and mentioned 2.

You know that frequency that old tv's emit, and not everyone can hear? like that but stronger.

I have just started reading the earlier posts in this topic while I was away from the forums.
Wow, I can see there was a big debate, I wish I checked the forums at that time. I certainly missed a lot.
I would have put everybody in their right place .
The forums progress so much over time, a lot has happened in a year.

there was one advert for 'Big Beds'. I was offended because google have obviously been spying on me and know i'm 6'1" and they're trying to say normal beds and matresses aren't long enough for me. i felt like a FREAK!!
what so offensive about that? They are catering for tall ppl. I wish more shops or businesses online sold clothes for skinny ppl, they always have loads of catolgues for big ppl but i have never seen one catering for skinny ppl .

its not just the old tvs the new ones do it to. I think it has something to do with the electricity entering the plug and through the wire into the TV. Mine drives me up the wall when im trying to sleep at night i have to always switch it off by the mains coz i can hear it humming.

I don't think The Revival should be advertising mail order brides. Presently the Google Ad is inviting me to find a Muslim life partner FREE, quite a persuasive pitch unless "life partner" is meant to imply I might not get to specify a female. I bet there's small print. They have to make money somehow and Google Ads won't cover that much P&P.

Lol.
I think the ads are a brilliant idea... as long as they can be filtered. It's an excellent way to bring in money for the magazine. The Revival is afterall a FREE magazine with a circulation of about 15000!
Admin, I definitely don't think you should get rid of them. I thought you said you could filter them or is it not that simple. Or you just not got round to it yet.
I can filter... but it is based on domain name. So if an ad links to a domain we do not approve of, I can remove that.
but for that I need to know what people dislike. I myself am not really offended by much.
Besides it is against the ToC for me to click on any google ad links. I can install a tool which will tell me what it is linked to, but as you may have gathered I have this whole laziness issue.

it has the link written underneath, so u don't need to click on it.
eg Bigger Beds, which offended me so heartily is www.longbeds .com
(i don't know why i keep giving them extra advertising for free!)
i didn't think the one about menopause was very nice, and i don't think it really an issue that effects Muslim youth very often

And remember while it is 100% cashback, you WILL be paying £40.00 a month, with you recieving money back after month 6, 8, 10 and 12 if you get your bill to them within 60 days of the allotted time, no mail loss, no change of tariff, and juggling 3 pineapples at the same time.
If you can do that then fair do's. I no the other hand have never had a cashback deal so i have no idea if I would be able to.
