You do know there are people working for the police and the secret service who are regularly checking forums such as this one for anything related to terrorism.

Thats what my brother says

he's all paranoid that the government are watching us.

And everytime someone uses the phrase 'prime minister' along with 'bomb' 'Allah' while on the phone then a red flag goes up in Mi5 somewhere.

I'm sure someone does check in here, which is good, but it isn't exactly a terrorist hub.

no its already been done but it wasnt me. Ive been racking my brain for the past 3 weeks thinking what i was doing on the 6th of june at 10.00pm and then i remebered could it be that i was on this forum and behold i was. Biggrin
This forum is my back up alibi in case the cops dont believe my first one (which is likely).

I hope you realize that if you submit the forum as an alibi, and they check, the police will have you right there I-m so happy admitting you knowingly lied to them the first time.

I think I am turning into a collector of useless things.

I need more shelves.

Ya know what to do with useless things? Wrap them up and give them to close, polite friends... the kind that will smile and thank you despite inwardly realizing it is junk.

I have school reports, cards, diary's, scrapbooks from when I was 7!

I have a attachment to anything with a sentimental value.

You're a girl - it's not your fault. Annette's hormones are getting all kinds of crazy right now and she's tearing up over all kinds of things - sentimental connections is definitely a big thing.

Like I got her a new car for her birthday and our conversation went something like this:

Quote:
*Sniffle Sniffle* Don't you love me?!

i uhh...

How could you do this to me?!

well like, i just thought tha

You don't respect *anything,* you can't just replace 6 years of beautiful memories (aka, her old car) because you think everything new is better!

well i really didn't mean...

Just leave me alone.

Then literally five minutes later she broke down with something that sounded like an apology.

Hormones suck.

I kept the box my PC came in for about 7 months. I had no where to put it so I sued it as a "table" except I had no room for a table...

Got rid of it.

Took the 1998 calendar off my wall a few months ago.

I think I will have a proper "Throw everything away session" soon. And I am not even one of those sentimental types!

(I can see the box for the phone I had before my current one staring at me... )

Lol. I dont keep rubbish though.

I had a massive clear out session on Saturday where I filled up two black bin bags with 9 months worth of paper work, old essays and revision notes that I will not need ever again.

Clear out sessions are very satisfying.

Lol. Its not just a hormone thing!

Despite EVERYONE telling me to get rid of my old banger and buy a new car...I cant seem to let go.

I have so many memories in my first car. It took all the bumps and scratches when I was learning how to parallel park...I remember the distress I was under when it was clamped....I remember eating tuna sandwiches in my car at lunch time for a while when I was sad and wanted to be on my own....I remember the freedom, independence and joy I felt when I got my own wheels....

And I've only had my car for a year! And your wife has 6 years of memories.

I so don't get women

I used to keep lots of old stuff, partly out of being sentimental but mainly out of laziness (I wonder which of these characteristics mean Mr Admin hordes things...), but when I moved out of home last year, I had to SERIOUSLY downsize, which meant throwing out (or donating) ALL my childhood toys and useless keep-sakes. Needless to say, I wanted to play with each toy one last time, so the whole process ended up taking forever! It was quite enjoyable, it took me back to being 5-years-old again (only this time with extra dust).

All I've got left now is my photos and a monkey-head made out of a coconut (but thats another story...)

Don't just do something! Stand there.

there is an advert on this website for:

Quote:
Retractable barriers and Rope stands. Cafe barriers, and queues.

That is possibly the worst-punctuated advert I've ever seen.

Don't just do something! Stand there.

Lol

By the way, does anyone know of any good phone contracts that are out? With a decent phone? My contract is about to finish (flex 35 - £17.50 after cashback, which is about £180 in credit). I'm looking to pay about the same amount. What contact is everyone else on?

And is there a certain time, when contacts become cheaper?

I haven't topped up since March..

Congratulations.

Unless you topped up a ludicrous amount.
