i think its a external thing
thats why kids never get depressed
Hormones and such do not come into play until you reach teenage - adulthood.. for children, depression/anxiety is better known to be extrinsicly caused, but for adults and such, it isnt necessarily due to external influences - and like any other medical condition, it is also a medical condition that has to be treated..
Obviously external factors play a part - remember that hadith that compares a righteous friend and an unrighteous/evil friend as that of a perfume seller and a blacksmith.. But that having been said, its only too easy to dismiss any anxiety/depression/etc that a person may face as soley due to pressures from the outside.. As well as negative social surroundings and external factors, medically, the root cause can be due to imbalances within the body - ie hormones, brain chemicals, etc
I think we're agreeing on outward influences playing a factor - but like i said before, it may not necessarily be the only factor.. like everything else, it differs from person to person..

How important it is to know ALL the back roads of all the areas you regularly drive in so you don’t stress out and get lost when traffic becomes diverted…
Just cos you’re a Muslim, it doesn’t mean you’re the expert…today, a English guy from my class was telling ME all about the Caliph Khalid Bin Walid – goodness I felt so ignorant…(he’s done his Masters in Islamic History).
Some girls need to be taught how to act like girls…however, it comes naturally to others.
Never judge a book by its cover…I was talking to an English girl with an English name from my class today who was telling me about her affiliation with the Sikh religion…and was wondering why an Indian girl with an Indian name knew less about Hinduism than I did – I later found out that she was Christian…..
I’m more likely to keep in touch/celebrate mates B’days etc than my own family…:?

I learnt:
How much patience and love is required to teach a child (knew this but putting it into practice is much harder)
How noisy 15 small girls can be!!
I also learnt how easy it is to become attached to someone....
Whatever you teach, you always have your one favourite
Just learnt the meaning of the word 'somnambulant'.
To walk while sleeping.
And also 'Addlepated'.
confused. Senseless.
