Sex and Islam

salaf

A friend asked me a good question regarding sex and islam.

Why is it that muslims are shy to talk about sex nowadays but the sahaba and the Rasul ﷺ talked about it openly?

the important part of that whole diatribe is 6 minutes in.

Its from someone who dislikes Islam in its entirety and disagrees with it.

I thought you said you were Muslim (after you said that you werent).

The fact that people have debated strange and esoteric things is not a bad thing - it means that people are able to discuss islam, even not normal things and that is a strength not a weakness - peer review of sorts allows the wrong suggestions to be quickly weeded out where other scholars will counter an opinion they think is wrong.

That is how its supposed to work unless you want a marxist regime where no one is allowed to question or discuss.
