Counters can be useful sometimes, so you can see if the people who visit drop or theres more if you make a change but otherwise it is completely useless.

The title of this thread should be "We are back, well not really" as "mostly" implies nearly everythin is here but all that we lost is gone Cray 2

Nah I sent him an email with a new password, but he has not responded.

(Salaf if you are reading this, you can post in the tech board.)

I have made a small change to the 'Revival Green' template.

Lets hope it it useful.

I tried that once. It IMO looked horrid. That was when i decided these forums should not be identical to the old old forums, but something that was good looking and unique. I am still working at that Blum 3

Man! A whole week!

And we were told the forums would be back up on Tuesday.

Anyway, aside from being 'forced' to enjoy the weather I looked around at other forums and made a guest appearence on the MPAC one. Man, they are all so hostile towards one another.

There's no place like The Revival forum.

That's true- That’s why I've been banned 3 time's from there.

If I remember correctly, didn’t you hound one sister because she was member of HT?

whoa, seriously?! i dont understand wot people have against HT, most people who are anti-HT dont even know wot the organisation is about, they've built opinions based on false information... :?

That's true.

She doesn’t post much because of the abuse she received from the MOD and a few individuals - for posting HT articles.

She is a nice sister. Studying medicine now. Smile

I must say I was pretty anti-ht a few years ago.

Not because of what they preached but how.

At uni I was refused attendance to their gathering as I had to become a member before attendong, and they would not tell me what their views were until after I joined up... catch 22.

They have a one point plan. Which is good.

what I take issue with is that they mix aqeedah and practice into one. You have to buy it wholesale. if you disagree with any point, you are out. Or that is how it felt to me anyway...

Just another thing:

On the old old forums we had a total of 42,686 posts in 2 years, 2 months. Here we have 57,666 posts in about 6 months!

If you have disagree with HT methodology then fair enough but to be piety about everything HT do is just shameless politics really.

Who remembers Shabina Begum court case to wear the jilbaab in school?

 i guess us oldies have grown in no. and started posting a lot more... hayder will probably soon count himself in the list of oldies (even tho he isnt one)... Wink

but by 'old old' do u mean proboard or the grey one before that...? (coz the latter was truly ancient) Blum 3

Isn’t it Ironic that Beast ventured onto the MPAC forum when this place was out of service- my circumstance are a little different but I’m sure you all are happy to have me here.

By old old I mean proboards.

Shabina begum? the one who went to high court or something to get an injunction to be allowed to wear the Niqab at school?

Yes- All Mpac focused on was her apparent rant at the media and the fact that HT supported her- was enough for MPAC to ignore her.

I couldn’t care less if HT helped this sister, she is certainly courageous

What is ironic about it?

(and how could HT back her? I thought they were against political involvement? (Haraam/kufr depending on which HT you ask...))

And can we discuss her in a new topic please.

Her brother's are HT members, HT helped her by providing solicitors and legal support- as we all know fighting a court case isnt cheap.

There's no need for another topic- I'm finished.

It's Ironic because I only post on revival when I’m banned from MPAC, and Ifan joined Mpac when this forum wasn’t functioning.

Do you want to read my post which lead to me being banned?

I doubt you'd get banned for whatever it was here...

They seem to have a prediliction with banning you there.

Ironically every time they do you win the member of the month

Quote:
Be assured Clayman that what you have heard about Muslims is entirely correct, not even a little bit wrong.

I am genuinely that bad, and only because of the book’s I read, I would have been a good person a contributing citizen, a good egg, it was my friends that taught me to be bad, indeed very bad.

lol- That forum get heated most night of the week this place is more tranquil

yes, gone.

I remember that post... something about it struck me as antagonistic but not even remotely something that approached breaking a rule.

Graduation, then Israel, then i'm getting married, Malta, veracruz and depending on where I go from there either more veracruz, NYC and Boston or the UK.

Either way, i'll be hanging up my hat on both forums... it's time to concentrate on the family I never had.
