It's always great to get in touch with Muslims, as I'm a Muslim too.

I work as an SEO, a newbie ofcourse. Currently I'm working on a company who provides Hajj & Umrah services. Well my intention is to help people who are willing to go to Hajj or Umrah.

Exactly! The company I work for is an SEO company. They get projects from other companies. Then my boss hands over those projects to staffs, us. 🙂

Often but not always through spam. Not saying that this will be about spam, or even that advertising Hajj and Umrah will be considered an issue.

I guess you are talking about black hat SEO, which is based on spamming. But now google has become more alert and black hat SEO is almost gone. 

What my company and I do is completely white hat SEO. My boss strongly warned me not to do any black hat thing. 

As far as this Hajj and Umrah is concerned, as a Muslim I can't even think of doing anything wrong with it. 🙂
