A beautiful Poem

‎"O my Lord, if I worship you" ~ Rabia Basri

"O my Lord,

if I worship you
from fear of hell, burn me in hell.

If I worship you
from hope of Paradise, bar me from its gates.

But if I worship you
for yourself alone, grant me then the beauty of your Face."

This poem made me feel weak in the heart and bought tears to my eyes. It's a beautiful poem.

i did read somewhere that when all judgement will be done, Allah will take a handful of people from Jahannam and put them in PAradize, but i cant remember where i read that, so if you want proof i'll have to go search...

ALSO, you could memorize the Quran (all of it) by heart, as you get to choose 10 people to come paradize with you. (oh god, i said that but i really dont remembre where i read it...=/)

BUT, common, gotta be reasonable, eternal bliss? you gotta do SOMETHING to earn it, so..believing in Allah and His messenger (pbuh), well i dont think that's much...

Just think about, what do you do with someone you believe in/trust? its not just about the believing part, its about aLL the other actions that go with it.

now you gotta do the same for God.

people think, oh i believe in Him with all my heart. but then they sin and do all sorts...

would you do that to someone who you trusted? someone you believed in? (someone who holds your life in His hand?)
would you purposefully do something you know that person hates? and then still go back and say "we're friends"
