what IS the point?
you turn your back on the world...and some RANDOM person comes along and hugs you and you had NO idea there were there, NO idea how long they've been there...watching you and there's NO way you can escape the hug...
if you intend to close yourself on the world, please just turn sideways...
if you turn sideways you can keep an eye on the world so no one can try and hug you, hugging a shoulder is VERY uncomfortable so even the randomest person wont last long, and you can definatly see the hug coming so you can escape it.
isnt there a saying "keep your friend close and your ennemies closer" if you've decided to make the World your ennemy then how can you afford to turn your back on it??
Am i giving advice to people on how to become unsociable? Is this a bad thing?

what?
No. Idea. to be honest =/
just something i was thinking about... one of my weird/twisted logic ideas...
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
LOL i don't think it was weird/twisted. its good advice. well as it was so late in the night u probably meant exactly what you wrote? but i kinda took a metaphorical meaning out of it
"How many people find fault in what they're reading and the fault is in their own understanding" Al Mutanabbi
yep Blue, you're spot on! i think its suppose to be metaphorical..
i'll tell you the story behind this post. it was the day before one of my english exams and i was suppose to meet up with my friends at the library and revise. then i remembered the day that just went by and the amount of "revision" we did. so i thought.."tomorrow i'm going to go and sit in one of the section of the library, facing the wall and get on with revising...then i imagined one of my friend coming from behind and standing over me and/or hug me" tadaa!!
i could have written "stab you in the back" instead of hug..but that would have been too common.
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
maybe...
anything wrong with that though?
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Just don't turn insane and everything will be fine.
havent i already? im just real good at disimulating it
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
I have no idea.
best people to ask about your sanity are your family and friends.
Well the two main point that i got from this point are:
Don't ignore/avoid/ stop talking to people, it's not healthy.
Make sure you are aware of your surroundings because you never know what might be around the corner.
I know feel like an English teacher teaching poetry - you know how they give everything a deeper meaning than even the poet would have lol
"How many people find fault in what they're reading and the fault is in their own understanding" Al Mutanabbi
hey! not talking to people is fine, its quite peaceful and relaxing. not having to think about what to say next, not thinking about what they are thinking, not caring at all what they are thinking (coz you aint talking to them) not talking to people sometimes is good (why does "keep you enemy closer" come into my mind when i say this?) and about your second point, agreed, SEE dont just LOOK.
this is what english lit is all about!! and we are always complaining about teachers guetting TOO into it. i guess teaching the same poems over a few years makes you SEE stuff.. they need to at least find ONE new point to teach...so as the year go by, the more absurd it gets (Y)
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
