even though the person has given consent ....

or should symphathy be shown in certain cases?

Suicide is haraam bro.

The question for Muslims becomes that if a body can no longer live without artificial means, at what point would turning off the machines be the right thing and not considered suicide.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

yes its haram no doubt in that.

but what about non-muslims, looking at it from a human perspective, should it be tolerated in any circumstance? and isn't it dangerous that the DPP is issuing guidelines saying when it may be 'tolerated'....seems to me that it may provide people with some what of a defence.

Is it even suicide when someone else is helping you...yet at the same time to be held liable for homicide when you were asked to help seems unfair...although it could be a step in the right direction. Gives the impression that the goverment is a little scared of this area of the law or maybe abit too cautious.
