salams i came across a mind boggling video on youtube today about the illuminati, linked with the new world order and free masons.
Anyone tell me more about it, should we be aware of them, and educate ourselves on them and their brainwashing techniques?
It's really shook me up, after a few minutes i can really see the truth in some of what i saw.

also same user in other posts mentions importance of 11 and references to 9/11 in the early 90's before 9/11 occurred. What do you make of this you'd need to see his posts for further info. i didn't know there were references to 9/11 date before it occurred. how true it is i don't know. but the michael jackson secret, the one he died with is chilling to me.
I don't think it should bother us in the least.
Most of this type of stuff is based on assumption and conjecture. MJ was a "big figure" and conspiracy theories about his death were bound to crop up.
What the biggest indicment AGAINST those talking about the illuminati and such is... we are not Christians.
Their material is aimed at fundamentalist Christians and espouses Christian and pagan concepts which are alien to Islam - Islam has no concept that 666/999 is an evil number or that 13 is unlucky. but these people use such things to "prove" that the illuminati are evil and control the world.
The "ghost of Michael Jackson" is haunting his mansion? give me a break! Before I can believe such things I need Islamic proof of their validity. (if you follow the feet... you can see that someone just walked in front of a light source...)

i think the illuminati is more than christian topic. refers to the idea of a new world order where people will have no free thought. i think thats happening already. you can see that here. you only have to read a newspaper article and even if it is tabloid trash ppl will discuss it as if is the truth or reality. ppl do in general follow things they are told on TV or in newspaper reports. They will say "I believe such and such" but if you hear them most just regurgitate the same rubbish the media has told them without little thinking of their own. I've found myself doing it. But since i ditched the TV i think i have a totally new perspective on things, but im not immune to being a sheep either.
why does american money have the pyramid with the evil eye/all seeing eye at the top? It's not just a pretty design it reflects the history of the dollar, who created it and who still controls it doesn't it make you wonder?

If masonic/satanic symbols imagery brainwashing techniques are being used in music, hollywood movies and mass media shouldn't we as muslims be aware of them so we can select "healthy" things to consume rather than allowing it to consume us. The problem with the illuminati narrative is that they mention concepts of control etc that are simply not accepted valid in the non-christian world.

That is clips - record enough clips and you can get people to say anything (the daily show once even got the Bush administration to tell the truth by taking a couple or so words from numerous speeches to create sentences).

My friend's been researching the Illuminati's for the past 11ish months.
She's the first one to tell me about them and now actually brings them up in citizenship and sociology lessons - and everyone finds them more interesting than what's actually meant to be discussed in lessons lol - ofcourse a lot of those people also believe its a load crap.

Apparently a lot of celebs in hollywood and music industry for example are forced into it, otherwise their careers are threatened. I mean these ppl control the media amongst other things so they can use it against celebs. So you find a lot of A list celebs with these groups. But many join without force because like seraph said they believe religion holds ppl back, and i guess they are never happy with the masses of wealth and fame they have they want more.

Besides, governments are rarely a single organ. They are people. People have different motives and ideas. If anything was ever to happen, it would leak and there would be chaos.

If it was to be leaked it would have been leaked by now. Many people who have tried to reveal the truth have been killed. Malcolm X , JFK, MJ all figures who tried to show the people of the truth in the world. Yet we all see that they;re gone now.
It affects us as muslims because this group of people have an agenda, one point on this agenda is to break the chains between the people and allah (swt) or their God. We all see how muslims and islam is portrayed by the media, we all know that the media publicise islamic extremists way more than any other extremist group anywhere in the world. And we should all know that extermism is not an act encouraged by our religion.
These people try to get rid of religion and its affecting us because most people are blind to this, and the fact that many things they hear and see are not entirley true. Maybe this idea itself is not true after all who knows if its a true fact it's an ideology. But it makes alot of sense once u begin to dig deeper and investigate for yourselves.

it won't change a thing. i don't work im at school, it can't make me leave or move away.
But it can make you think these people with power, how are they treating the world?
What will become of the world?, surely the youth and the next generations should be the ones making the change. Not bieng stuck in this brian washed society. Maybe that isn't our duty but is it not our job to spread our deen? and in the society bieng made will that ever be possible when the truth isn't heard.
People are self motivated.
Some also have a higher goal and belong to organisations.

It just makes me kinda angry when you see or read things, and you can't know if they are true or not. And if they are is it islamically or some other way. I guess when i read about all these things and conspiracy theory's it got me thinking about myself, and how i am as a muslim and i started to practise islam alot more than i had done in the past because well watever the rest of the world does and beleives my life is down to me and my personal choices and the guidance of allah (swt)
