What do you mean you don't know what to do?
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
Life Drawing involves drawing naked people in front of you (right?)
So..his/her dilemna..is that she/he can't avoid doing this. Is it allowed? What should she/he do?
Would they understand if you said that you can't participate in Life Drawing?
oh, I didn't know that. I just assumed it was drawing living things.

Yes, of course, but to a certain ear it sounds weak that you can't.
Nas, I'm sure they've noticed you're Muslim and won't be surprised if you ask for an alternative project. Life drawing is very instructive so it is a good idea to pick up tips online and at least to practise self-portraits, sketches of eg your hands and feet, and by drawing people clothed - maybe if you have another religious classmate you can team up.
