i can understand ur views to a certain extent (my bro used to be one of u guys b4 he became a khalifite) I clearly told u what shirk is and y I think it is shirk, ofcourse i don't expect u to agree with me, ur just as stubborn and narrow minded as my whabi brothers and sisters

The believers are reminded in the Holy Qur’an (the ones who have embraced Islam-not the unbelievers) “O believers do not raise your voice above the voice of the Messenger and do not speak to him so loudly as you speak to one another (this violates the basic norms of courtesy and you should be careful of that) you do not waste your good deeds (on account of this disrespect) without being aware of it” (49; 2).

This Quranic verse underscores three things;

1 Raising your voice in the presence of the Holy Prophet (saw), or referring to Him the way we refer to one another, or behaving in a discourteous uncultured manner is strictly forbidden.

2 This disrespect can nullify all our good deeds.

3 This can happen in a manner that one is not even aware of the waste or loss.

ur reading that verse out of context!
and ur adding ur own meaning to it!
God told ppl to not raise thier voices infront of him when he was ALIVE (despite the the verse in the koran [which meaning and transaltions has been twisted to trick "muslims" into committing shirk] as far as this world is concerned the guy is dead)- god said not to raise ur voice infront of him when he was alive because then it would make his mission to deliver the koran more difficult!

Allah (swt) states in the Holy Qur’an ‘And know that the Messenger of Allah is among you’ (49:7).

The Holy Qur’an was revealed to the entire ummat (community) of the Holy Prophet (saw); therefore every verse is applicable and relevant. The Holy Qur’an has an eternal relevance for all people, and its message is as relevant for us today and for all our future generations as when it was first revealed.

If we feel that certain ayats (verses) of the Holy Qur’an only applied to the Sahaba’s (companions) of the Holy Prophet (saw), then this must mean that we have negated the utility, benefit and relevance of the Holy Qur’an.

He Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) is physically present in Medina but spiritually present amongst us in light of His teachings; in the form of noor (light), mercy, , guidance and barakah (blessings). He is also amongst us in the form of Shaf’aat (intercession) and Wasila (means of gaining the nearness and pleasure of Allah (swt).

The Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said: ‘If any of you enters the Mosque, send Salaam to me, followed by this Du'a; 'O Allah! Open your Door of Blessing for me’. (Abu Dawud, Ibne Majah, Baihaqi) This Hadith proves that the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) is present in every Mosque and according to Islam; the entire earth is a Mosque for the Muslims.

Since the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) is still amongst us; extreme love and respect towards Him should remain strong.

And by the way, I’m not clever enough to add my own meaning to the Holy Qur’an. Now am I arrogant enough to do that…I follow qualified scholarship. If I didn’t I probably would also dismiss the words of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) (hadiths) just cos I didn’t understand/agree with them.

Wasalaam

yes u follow the scholers, and ur not arrogent or disrespectful like me, but did u read what I said about scholers in my "would you rebel?" thread?

Stay with the topic binger.

If you want to talk about status of the Prophet, then create a new tread.

Omrow

If you want to discuss the status of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) then why dont YOU start a new thread.

This topic is about His Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) status....after all if we didnt care about His status then why would we get all hot and bothered with the Saudi's for destroying His Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) home and replacing it with a car park?

saying he is divine is shirk, doing the stuff u do is shirk,.... and that is the reason y my brothers want to demolish "islamic histroy", i was never off the topic, I STRONGLY disagree with what they are doing :!:

Who said He Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) was divine?

As well as falsely accusing people of committing Shirk are you also fond of accusing people of saying stuff that they didnt say?

I am under the impression u somehow think he is divine, and that was what i have always been told ever since i was a child, but I CANNOT deny the fact that u idolise the guy....

I apologise for offending u, but this is coming from a whabi, aske NE of my other whabi brothers and they would bash ur face! I is being nice, even if u think i am being a swine...

..

You musnt assume stuff then should you?

No Muslim believes that the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) has any share in divinity.

We believe in the importance of loving, respecting and obeying Him (saw).

If you see that as "Shirk" or "worship" then the problem lies with your understanding-not ours.

I was told that since I was child MS, and I always believed it.

yes the problem is us not u...

u shud b allowed to practice what ever u like, god did say no compulsion in religion....

but what the hell can i do about it?

Judda, I think you need a good long education about the basics of Islam and what the meaning of being a muslim is only then you can talk. Your posts are full of disrespect to the prophet(saas).

I think you need to find a sound scholar - preferably someone who doesn't hold the same level of respect that you have, and get the confusion of wahabi, sunni's etc out of your mind.

There is a clear hadith which has been mentioned many times before about the prophet(saas) not praying for Najd - where abdul Wahab was born....think about what it means....

When a prophet who can split the moon into two halfs, who can travel to the seven heavens in a blink of a eye (all with the will of allah of course) then doesn't it put fear into someone when he (Saas) doesn't pray for a particular place???

Think about it.....

i aint disrespecting the guy, i just aint worshipping/idolising him.

Bilal Philips is my scholer (i liston but take no notice).

my beliefs are significantly different to yours.

some people assume i am giving views from an islamic perpective when i talk bullshit when it is blatently my own opinion.

This is what I said about scholers on my "would you rebel?" thread...

A sin is an intentional disobedience.

In order for something to be classified as a sin one needs to KNOW that it is considered a sin in Islam.

If one does something out of ignorance then there is no sin on them.

In Islam the intention is more important then the action….“Actions judged by intentions and every man will have but that which he intended.”(Bukhari).

Therefore even if people are committing shirk and this is a widespread problem (which is highly unlikely because the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) did point out 6 times in Bukhari hadith that he does fear Shirk for His ummah)….if they are doing it out of ignorance and lack of knowledge then there is no sin on them.

So you have shirk phobia AND you don't even know what shirk is!

PS how can someone who is born be a deity? I would think the fact people celebrate the BIRTH means they do not deitify the Prophet (saw).

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

I do NOT have shirk phobia. I told u what I believe shirk is and my reasons for believing it is shirk, like i sed b4 i DO NOT expect u to agree with me and i couldn't care less if u worshipped the devil in the holyest cities in the world- I REALLY DON'T GIVE A DAMN!

If a muslim started to get a prayer mat out and start worshipping a tree I bet u would still say it wasn't shirk!

I asked my muhammad worshipping mate yesterday about where he believed Muhammad was divine or not. He said he DID. So there are muslims that believe he is divine.

Stuff like kissing the black stone is rediculous!

If they do go ahead with it u have only got ur self to blame. My brothers have to tell u when u r committing shirk in hajj/umra yet u blatently ignore them. They are wrong to destroy islamic histroy but u are wrong to commit shirk (or what ever you choose to call it).

Judda, try a different sheikh, someone other than bilal philips, say Sheikh Hamza Yusuf - listen to his speeches and you will find some wisdom in his words, or read his book - The purification of the Heart. It'll give you a different taste. Eating curry every day can make you feel ill you know... Wink
